Love this, this is similar to one of the videos we just put out not long ago! These are vital skills for developing artists. Great work.

Absolutely in love with the colours and composition of this piece! My one note as a TOTK player is that link is missing his new arm from Rauru :’). It’s hard to tell with the magic effects going on so I doubt many people will notice it at the convention, but if you have the time to adjust before print I highly recommend it since it’s a large part of the new game!!

I wouldn't have minded a little bit more exploration and examples of his style, particularly when you translated into your piece. I like what you did, but by not being familiar enough with him, I essentially watched you create an image with really nice blending/gradients in some parts and a nice palette overall. If by chance, you do another one like this, that would be my request.

TEARS OF THE KINGDOM MENTION 🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥 good video!

When I saw this post yesterday on Instagram, my first thought was: Hm, I dont think jackie played the game, has she? Haha I hope this doesn't come across wrong, but I thought I'd let you know how I knew and what you could improve about it! 1. Links arm Links arm is extremely important in the game and the source of "magic" . I think it would make sense to let the magic visibly come out of his right arm instead of just a light in front him. The magic coming out is also green and not blue! It might also be a bit unspecific to just show Link and Zelda floating since it doesn't have anything to do with the gameplay. I think you should also choose an outfit that shows the arm better then this one, which is part of... 2. The outfits While it's true that these outfits exist in the game, I think there are more iconic outfits that exist, that immediatly let you know that this is art for Tears of the Kingdom and not Breath of the Wild. I think Links tunic would have been a great choise for example and theres a really iconic outfit for Zelda that I won't say now, because I dont want to spoil noone! ;) Link also has really long hair in the second game, you can put it into a ponytail too but its more iconic and true to the second game to leave it open in my opinion! 3. Lastly the enviroment The enviroment is soo incredibly important in these open world games that I think it would really help to showcase a specific place in the world. I appreciate that you brought in the shrine, the floating islands and the monster, but I think a lot of fans would appreciate seeing a specific location that existis in the game! Even just some mountains are so iconic that a player can tell which ones they are. I think watching gameplay and the trailers would have helped! I love your art and this was written with no bad intentions! I thought since you always give us advice I'd let you know what I think could be improved. c: I think its nice that you were transparent and let us know that you didnt play the game! Hope this maybe helped! ❤️

I also played the game and I agree with your points! I was just wondering what locations you would've liked to have seen? :) just curious, lol!!
@afanoftruequality875710 ай бұрын
@@someonewithazeldaprofilephoto thats nice of you to ask! C: I think for jackies layout of the illustration a grassy field at lookout landing would have been nice, either with hyrule castle in the background or just the mountains in the other direction (drawing them with directly refrencing how they look ofc). But I think if I would have drawn something similar to this I would have probably chosen to draw from one of the floating islands or even link just skydiving! C: What place would you have chosen?

I love your videos so much ! You make video about portfolio and "work" stuffs, but with yours video, i never feel like i'm "working" by watching it because it's always fun, dynamic, distractive, intersting and your tone is always sweet and caring ! I learn SO MUCH and it's really inspiring (even more as a woman from the same age range ( i guess? ) !! ) ! You seem to be such a cool person and I think it makes your video even more cooler !!

Jackie you pirate :P You can always use the classic gradient in new photoshop versions by selecting the gradient tool and then choosing "classic gradient" in the top left.
