i had a beautiful German Shepherd name King that died when i was in the 10th grade and this video brings back so many great memories of King. I never got another dog after that because i loved that dog and i didnt want to get that attached to a dog again cause it hurt when he passed. I hope your parents agree to a small dog and you promise to look after it. Get a dog that does not shed a lot. Unfortunately because we don't have good weather outside you would need to keep.it inside. So pick a breed that is docile and not very active. Tell your parents that you will wipe its paws before it comes in and that you will vacuum the house once a week. Your parents are right in that dogs are work. They will teach you to be a responsible person. And if you reach 15 or 16 you could work part time to pay for food and vet bills for your dog. Good luck! I am pulling for you.

I found a GSD when I was six years old. He was lost and took him in until we could find his owner. He nipped at me a bit but no full on biting, just a few bucks and cuts here and there. I didn't care, he was a great dog, and I was sorry to see him go when we finally found the owner.

Once I had found a shih tzu walking around while coming back from school, we took it home, alimented and gave it some water. Then my cousin told her owner (which was looking for it) we had found it and we returned her. Ngl I kinda wish she didn't tell the owner, would've been a great company to our dog, but I'm happy it returned to it's home

I got mine 6 months ago, and I come back to this vid every now and then because mine is a short hair female who is now 6 months. Sometimes I get annoyed and angry with her because her form of playing with me is biting as dogs don't have hands. But everytime I come back to this vid it makes me appreciate that I have her and how close she really is to me I just realised now that because we got her when she was 3 weeks, me and my siblings need to fill in the spot of her siblings. She also barks at anyone who walks past our garden, like last time she did a backward rolley poley because she was barking at a helicopter 😂 but when we go for other walks and other dogs bark at her she gets easily scared 😂

I had to put my 13yr old GS to sleep on Dec 21 of 2020, cancer and kidney disease were causing him too much physical pain and even though he wanted to eat and drink water he would immediately vomit. GS are very smart and loyal dogs.
