Many years ago now, I worked with a kid who had parked his car under the attached carport at his house. There was a fuel leak, directly onto the hot intake manifold. The car burned, and so did the house. Fortunately, he and his wife and daughter weren't hurt. There was an outpouring of help from all of us at work (BIG organization). Although it took some time, they eventually got back to normal. I'm so glad you weren't hurt, and neither was anyone else. Sorry the truck didn't make it, but it gives you a good reason to get another truck now. All the best to you.

Also do you know the cause... You know modern cars use entirely to much plastic especially in the engine bay a tiny fire will turn them in too a toxic fire ball! This is why I love my pre 90 cars. Much less plastic in the engine bay I lost a 2000 Hyundai to a backfire cause by a broken timing belt it set the air box on fire and from there there was no stopping the fire till the fire dept got there. I couldn't put it out cause of the toxic plastic fumes.
