The NYPD top brass have made sure that the nypd rank and file no longer hold the title of NY Finest. The vast majority of hero cops are gone snd we are left with overwhelming majority of rank and file that are far from deserving respect. When unarmed normal citizens have to get involved in a city with the largest police force on the planet to combat criminals, something is tragically wrong. Tic ket writing is up and arrests of violent criminals is down. Why pay cop wages when ee are getting meter maid service?
