Y'all. She and my daughter went to the same performing arts high school and carpooled to school every day. My daughter was Amneris to her Aida! I used to drive them both to summer musical rehearsals! The joy you see in this performance is ALL Courtnee! She has an amazing family and she is a very hard worker! She deserves all this attention because she is a LOVELY young woman inside and out! We are THRILLED for her!

Mekeishakayla hmm I see where you’re coming from but I’m not quite sure if Ti Moune and Daniel should get together simply because the book that Once On This Island is heavily based on the original Little Mermaid fairytale. The similarities are already pretty obvious right now and it would probably be even more noticeable in a Disney movie. So unless Disney actively markets Once On This Island as loosely based on The Little Mermaid, they should probably do either the actual ending or one that’s not them marrying each other cuz I think it would ultimately be beneficial if the ending isn’t too similar to the original Disney’s Little Mermaid.

I got the opportunity to see THE opening night of the tour in Nashville (I didn't even realize it was the first tour performance until that night!!) and oh my goodness what an experience.
