Watch out for this Facebook scam

There's a new scam going around targeting Facebook users, and it's one that has an alert from the Better Business Bureau. If you come across a gut-wrenching post that grabs your attention, do not share it, unless you've confirmed that it's true. The posts usually come in any buy-and-sell group, but you may be exposing your trusted friend community to scammers. One victim in Detroit contacted the BBB after being scammed out of $550, saying someone claimed their friend was in an emergency and needed payment for cancer treatment.

This video is really funny because Facebook does not delete scam posts or groups.

Facebook and Instagram also never remove scammer’s profiles. I have reported a countless number of profiles and not a single one has been removed.
