I repeat like the others, two games in a day is an amazing treat! GM King is known for quality (unlike, hmmm, others!). Loved the Bishop sac by Karjakin in the end-game, and he played it pretty quickly too (~20 seconds) as I watched on chessbomb. These guys are amazingly alert to stalemate to find it that quickly.

Thank you Daniel for an excellent analysis. Of note, one would think 41.Qf4 would exchange the Q's and the a-pawn promotes, but Black has 41...Be5! allowing it to get to b8 in time.

Well, I can think of three reasons: 1) They're just a prick. 2) They dislike that only a portion of the game is shown. 3) Some people like brief overviews, not detailed analyses. For whatever unfathomable reason.

The beauty of the endgame, so few pieces, yet still in my opinion the hardest phase of the game. The argument is still out whether Magnus is the greatest player of all time but Topalov once said he thinks Magnus is probably the greatest endgame player in the history of the game. I assume that is why he dominates his opponents.
