Im probably waisting my time here BUT..here goes...Please bear in Mind it was Diana who pushed for the Divorce from Prince Charles. We know Both were unhappy in That Marriage ! Its unlikely either side wanted it salvaged, well never know...We do know that its was diana who forced the Queens hand is requesting they Divorce. Charles was by this time re-aquanted with Camilla, who was herself in a shocking Marriage to Parker Bowels...who was screwing , even Wifes of his and her best friends...A real rake...he never tried to hide his lifestyle hence humiliating Camilla. Princess Diana had her first "Affair" with Barry Mannakee, a police officer with the Royal Protection Squad, he was assigned to Princess Diana's security detail. This was inside a year of her wedding to Charles. When that ended .. Diana took lover after lover... ( Shocking yes...but true Google Diana's men) In the Uk these affarirs were laid open to everyone...scandle after scandle, all were front page headliners...Those Poor Boys...who Diana called My Boys... Thy had to contend while being away at Boarding Schools... being taunted every time about their Mother who was called the Royal Ride! Named as the other woman in two divorces.. Unheard of for a future Queen of England. Diana didnt care if the Men had Wives! One wife tried to commit suicide and spe months in a clinic after her friend "Diana" Swore there was nothing going on between her and her Husband who was 16 years older than Diana was herself ! Charles and Camilla's relationship didnt fair a lot better we honestly do not kow when they re-kindled their relationship...Charles who never denighed their relationship was special to him...Declared nothing happened till his marriage to Diana was irevicabley over. BUT.. for Charles... It was always Camilla and Charles didnt play around. He just wanted a wife... who loved him, didnt try and upstage him ... and who would support his work, and importantly; Someone who would be and was faithful... Both Camilla and Charles had experianced the hurt that having Partners who cheating on them... Had caused.

But get over it - People know this but you literally need to appreciate camilla - they might have done bad but it was long ago - camilla is literally trying to atleast be a good wife and queen - how are you guys gonna warm up to her when you won't even give her a chance? You can say what you want, but Queen Elizabeth II (God rest her soul) created this problem by allowing Charles to marry Camilla in the first place -- then sealed the deal a year or two ago by giving her blessing on Camilla becoming Queen Consort. Queen Elizabeth didn't make many poor decisions, but this one was a truly horrible decision. And I was very much a big fan of QEII and late Princess Diana!!!

Why is it a poor decision? Queen Camilla has worked tirelessly to support her husband in the royal family since their marriage. She has made him a better man and king. She has been and still is an incredible asset to Charles and to the country. She is an elegant and regal queen, but still compassionate and relatable. I wish Their Majesties a long and fruitful reign.

@@jrimpau I will clear this up. She is saying that Queen Elizabeth+Her mother should have minded her own business and not interfered in King Charles' romantic life. Many loved Queen Elizabeth II, but what the previous comment is saying is that the Queen had a negative effect and major hand in this mess. She didnt make many mistakes during her reign, but her interference in the Charles+Camilla situation was a major one. If she had left Charles to marry Camilla in the first place, Diana would still be alive and married off to someone who really loved her. That was the point being made.

Very mixed feelings. I feel she should not be queen and it should have been Diana. But at some point we have to move on. Look at Harry and William. They are reminded daily. All these people want to do is make a difference. I follow their charity work and they spend their whole lives dedicated to it. I am on neither team, I'm not even British, just an outside observer, who is aware of what a gift the late great Diana was, but also how bad the marriage went into which Charles and Diana had been forced. I'm not necessarily a Camilla fan, and she certainly loses every direct comparison to Diana, yet I do think that Charles and Camilla should've been allowed to get married right away (regardless of Camilla's commoner status), the royal family would've spared themselves, the country and of course these young people so much trouble, INCLUDING DIANA. Imagine how happy that woman could've been if Charles and Camilla had just been allowed to get married right away! 😔 Long story short, after years of suffering for those involved, I'm glad that all this mess has at least ended with two people carrying the weight of the crown who are actually in love and fit together. By the way, it's not like they just got married, so asking this question now at the coronation 20 years later doesn't make much sense, does it. 🤷🏽‍♀️
