Reincarnation is different from resurrection. There are people that have been born into a human body many times, they were many different people, but the soul, which is within, is the same soul for better or for worse as it goes on the journey of these cycles.

Reincarnation asserts that there is some unchanged supernal nature of the soul that is melded with new substance on every iteration. Resurrection asserts that there is only one incarnation per universal instance where the soul gains and loses complexity in some supernal way per universal incarnation.

You give an example of a man on a donkey and the attitude towards him, that he must explain his "donkey position". There is reincarnation, but not explicitly mentioned. One has to look into the Ketuvim, as bits and pieces of it points to reincarnation. "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten." Closed minded people and miseducated people miss out on subtle clues. Because there is nothing new under the sun, what has been done, will be done again, and people have no memory of the ages before.... Those reincarnation cycles have been happening.
