Hi Elwyn, absolutely fantastic footage, mate!!... I watched your F15 video yesterday, and that was amazing!!!...bur, I must say that Typhoons brilliant paint job showed up the jet beautifully against that broken cloud, with that bit of blue sky breaking through!!!!... that would make some stunning photos and with those afterburners lighting up!!!👍👌💥💥..incredible display by our RAF!!!... can't wait to see your next video mate!!😁👍📸..cheers Paul 🍻👍

Great capture again, Elwyn! Appears like `Moggy´ prefers `British summer´ 🌦to go for a ride. Fully understand now when you wrote “… in some lovely light …” in other reply. This mix of dark & bright baggy clouds really provides nice ambience and good contrast with `Moggy´ in front of them. I believe it’s also very impressive for every visitor to see 2 displays of the Typhoon (`Moggy´ and `Cyborg Tiger´) with some different focus on flight manoeuvres. This way they’re more accomplishing then competing with each other. Other topic: just wonder whether there might be complaints within RAF aircrews wrt selection criteria for their display pilots. Flight lieutenant Turnbull `Turbo´ this year, and Flt Lt Brighty `Brighty´ the year before - suggests a catchy last name helps (besides the very obvious excellent pilot skills) 😉.

That’s a nicely held video under difficult lighting conditions Elwyn. I was there on the Sunday also so it was good to re-live the experience. I only took photographs but got some amazing shots although I say so myself, the only downside being my wife decided she wanted a better zoom lens, cost me £700 with a trade in on the Monday 🤣.

While quite stunning and nimble as a finger of lightning, nothing I've ever seen compares with the insane flight characteristics of the new f15. It did it all without thrust vectoring too. The raptor nor the felon can even come close. My jaw is still on the ground.

Lovely footage. It pains me knowing there is a substantial engine and control upgrade available for this aircraft (More powerful vectoring engines) and they are not going to install it... what a waste.

Interesting. Why won't they be installing it? If I had to guess, cost? Or they dont need to with the F35 around? Not too knowledgeable about it all.

@@Cameron9788 Cost versus efficiency. Apparently Typhoon is sufficient as it is... F-35 is supposed to complement Typhoon and not replace it, same with the next 6th gen... but that's all the words of the Tories. Imo it will be far more beneficial to just upgrade the Typhoons with the new engines, controls and avionics and put the 6th gen on hold until the future... as they would become full 5th gen.

@@babalonkie That's interesting. You'd think they'd be worth upgrading/updating. Even seeing what stuff the F-15QA was doing with it's latest upgrades just makes you wonder what this thing could do if they went ahead with it. Appreciate your reply!
