We do not cooperate with the ICC. Our own domestic investigation does prove that we do not need the ICC if it comes to justice. It will be up to Duterte and Bato in how far we may be able to file criminal cases at least against a few. If its of criminal proceeding, better to file the case in a proper forum that is, the court. The congress committee hearing was just "in aid of legislation. To formulate laws if there's any ammendment to our existing laws. They cannot prosecute a resource person for they were there to legislate laws and not part of the judiciary.

There is a big issue in the government particularly in the congress on how travelling funds were spent without official receipts. I believe no one, including PRRD and Sen. Bato, should be above the law. If ordinary Filipinos cannot refuse an investigation by either house of Congress, then PRRD and Sen. Bato should be held to the same standard. Allowing them to avoid investigation would only strengthen the ICC's case and compel the government to cooperate.

Sir, under Philippine law, Congress has the authority to conduct investigations and summon individuals to testify in aid of legislation. If former President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Bato dela Rosa refuse to comply with a congressional summons, it implies that they consider themselves above the law. This sets a precedent that ordinary Filipinos cannot refuse a congressional summons, which contradicts the principle of equality before the law. Gets mo?😂😂😂
