Pigs are some of the most amazing animals. After meeting some in person, I dare say I was quite shocked by just how much personality and wit they have!

That's right. Pigs are the most intelligent of all farm animals. They know how to play many different pig games, and how to enjoy them. And they often remember exactly how to play them the next time they go to do so, even if it's weeks later. They remember other pigs' and different people's appearances from the last time they saw them, also even weeks later. And, they love positive affection and attention, and they remember any people who've showed them such. There really really really needs to be more sanctuaries for pigs, and more people keeping them as pets. Let as many pigs as possible live long and full and happy lives. Since realistically, people can't completely end the slaughtering of pigs, they must at least adjust things to where it's as painless and fear-free as possible for them. Pigs know much more than many people have given them credit for. At slaughterhouses, they immediately know that something awful is going to happen to them as soon as they hear their fellow pigs screaching and seeing them getting cut open. It's why pigs must be stunned 100% unconscious, and the line or que to the stunner and slaughter floor must be layed out to where the pigs cannot hear or see anything ahead of them until they're literally 2 seconds away from being stunned unconscious. That will also greatly cut down any pigs screaching in terror, if they never know that anything will happen to them until they're only a second away until they're stunned unconscious. The best option is to have as many pigs as possible going to sanctuaries and being adopted as pets. And since it's too difficult to end slaughtering, just please try to do it all in a way where there's no pain or fear, and no suffering. I explained above how that can be done. Just end the pigs' suffering, please

Sometimes I think a person should be required to have an animal as a personal pet before being allowed to eat it. Spend ten minutes with these pigs in an open field and you will see that they are intelligent and able to form bonds with people.

SeeingStarz64 you can already tell the boys have been castrated. This is usually done at around 3 days old. If they still had their parts they’d be VERY visible by now :)

When I see people suffering either in pain, blind, cripple, deformed etc I used to feel sorry, not any more. They are the same people who did the same suffering to innocent animals like these in their previous lives. KARMA good or bad will follow you, and cannot avoid. good karma bring good fortune too. Everyone should keep this in mind.
