Watch: S Jaishankar's plain-speak over Europe's double standard on import of Russian oil

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar made an extremely sharp remark about the criticism that India is buying oil from Russia. He said that European countries remain the biggest buyers of oil and gas from Russia. He also said that there is a 'campaign' against India for buying Russian oil at a discounted rate. The EAM Jaishankar was speaking at an event organised by the Indian Council for World Affairs, where he held a discussion with visiting UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss. Truss said, 'India is a sovereign nation, I am not gonna tell India what to do.'

The ISIS army was funded and armed by Saudi Arabia and the arms were American. A clear cut case of rich Sunni country trying to eradicate the minority of Shiite in Syria. The war needed with USA taking over half of the oil fields in Syria and using it for its own benefit. In this Ukraine “war” they are selling weapons to poorest of the NATO members and sending Ukrainian refugees to them at the same time. According to these war mongering western countries, it’s not enough to be democracies..they expect all democracies to operate how THEY define what democracy means. The way they are going, they will end up with more foes than friends at the end of the day. These are the people who have PUSHED Ukraine into this bloodbath. Their colonizing history says it own. These western nations thrive when there is bloodshed.

The Indian minister was right to look after the Indian economy, like Turkey and Hungary. The UK minister is not thinking about the UK citizens who do not have the income to pay for the high prices for fuel and food that the sanctions are causing. And the Americans and Nato should not be supplying Ukraine with weapons, there should be a ceise fire and they should be at the bargaining table with Russia and Ukraine. Nato is the reason for the war and Russia was never a threat to European security. Besides, in the next 10 years Europe will be green. This war is the US trying to save its failing economy with weapon sales and trying to oblige the world to buy their low quality expensive liquid gas.
