As I just got this exact machine, I’m extremely happy this video got recommended to me. Thank you for posting.

That is perfection, right there. You've got to have the patience of a saint to do a job to that level of finesse.

Can you not achieve a hologram free finish with the rotary, thus the switch to a DA to finish? Thx
@CSIClearcoatsolutions6 ай бұрын
Hi there Yes but there is now an easier way using the same polish. 62-203 Ceram-x polish. Buff with our double sided wool pad using a rotary. Then switch tools to 5 inch DA polishing tool using our red foam 5 inch pad. All steps with one polish. Perfect finish every time.

This Sam Da Buffer has mad skills! Tom, what sand paper do you use? Are some more durable than others?!
@CSIClearcoatsolutions3 жыл бұрын
Hi there I don’t know the brand maybe Sunmight. Sunmight is a great sand paper.

Great video- How does Sam handle curves and places that the buffer won't lay flat?
@josh2962713 жыл бұрын
Great question Kimberly. It’s ok to tilt the buffer into the curve or use our three inch pads for smaller areas. Tom

No surprise that car came to awesome. Why didn't Sam stay with rotary polisher?b well buddy
@themechanicman38652 жыл бұрын
Polisher brand? Me personally I like Makita I've tried you won't. I tried a little bit of all of them and I like the corded versus the battery powered you can find tune the 110 volt corded a lot finer than you can the battery powered
@CSIClearcoatsolutions2 жыл бұрын
For me the FLEX battery powered rotary is the best. Battery last a long time and recharging is fast.

Sam do you finish with 8,000 by hand or dual action sander and also do you take it up to 8,000 with 3000 4000 5,000 6,000 7,000 8000
@CSIClearcoatsolutions2 жыл бұрын
Sam does use finer sand paper. I find for all flat work 2500 is all you need. On the tight places go to a finer grit

I seen Sam do so many mistakes with this process he did not block the last process with the DA plus he is using the same cloth that he used to wipe the excess residue of compound as well as wiping that using the same cloth to wipe the excess polish off I've been doing this professionally for over 25 30 years bro and I'm not impressed
