I've very much enjoyed these episodes with Kevin. I believe if you had the opportunity to make him a "regular" guest on your channel would be excellent. That said I think that the way you go about putting these together everyone is going to enjoy whomever you choose to get together with.

I would love to make a suggestion as I like watching your brand grow. Take Kevin to Switzerland have him talk about his upbringing there while touring famous watch manufacturers. I know it has its expenses but the horological value and Kevin's rich story telling abilities would create a once in a lifetime experience for both of you and it would make for a great video series. You could break up the video like this into 5 to 10 videos to recoup the cost. Advertising each video weekly to increase viewer retention. Also I filled out your watch strap questionnaire. You have some real winners in there and I think you did a great job of providing versatility to appeal to a wide range of buyers.

YAI YAI YAI I don’t know, the GS spring drive was the worst watch I ever owned. GS has horrible customer service, warranty doesn’t cover the internal magnets. Mine stopped from magnetized or demagnetized internal magnets from traveling through an airport scanner. GS charged me $880 to recharge the internal magnets, the watch was barely a year old, had to be sent to Japan and took over 2 months. Still love my regular Seiko watches the ones made in Japan are still a great value. But buying a $10,000 watch should get you better customer service, a warranty that covers the main part of the movement and at least some magnetic protection. Mine was the GS SBGC221. I sold this watch and a Rolex Anniversary Submariner, I definitely do not miss the GS or wish I kept it. Picked up an aquanaut in their place, now that’s a great watch.

Yeah FPJ is like the pseudo watch enthusiasts name brand to name to seem like they know what they are talking about. Hardly rare. Now in perspective to some other brands sure they are more rare but are easily available and all over the secondary market. The 1 of 10 FPJ statement is a marketing ploy and in fact every boutique only receives 10 per year of the limited edition series and there are quite a lot of boutiques so you do the math but it’s no we’re near only 1 of 10 produced.

Yes!! I mentioned that to him. There some independents he still needs to look into. De Bethune might resonate with him.
