The problem is not that people are "being told" incorrect information. The problem is that people are entrenched, withdrawing to their own camps and seeking out information that supports their delusions. The problem is that people don't care about facts, but only care about what feels vindictive and good. This is called selfishness and greed! People need to start thinking about others and how facts truly affect the circumstances. If they are not hearing facts, they need to question the messenger.
