Does the sloppy salad ever get tipped on the floor? It seems it's always timed so there's a trailer waiting for it in your videos and we've not yet seen the loader try to push it in later!

That’s exactly right. If we can avoid it being dumped in the floor we will because it’s a terrible mess to try and push it with the loader. So if we see him coming and we know that load will over fill the current trailer we will either have him wait until we can fill the trailer with another load or we will just pull that half full trailer out and drop it then get an empty trailer just for him. Then we will pull the previous trailer back in later to finish filling it.

Always loved the watching garbage trucks unloading from the rear end, you get a proper view of the entire load coming out. Cherry on top here is that the garbage is falling down the hole straight into the trailer waiting below... even more satisfying to see, very dope indeed! Cool you included rear loaders, a side loader, front loader and a couple roll offs for the variety. Been curious to see one of those portable compactors with the hydraulic rear end getting tipped. Also a divided body side loader carrying the same rubbish in both compartments haha Thanks very much for posting this, great content and something different!

it really depends on the route. Most of the trucks I drive can pick up around 850-900 house hold containers. With recycling it more around 1200 or more. thanks for watching

That’s sloppy mess is rotten potato salad from a local production plant. Is discarded product that didn’t make it to the final stage so it gets tossed and ends up here in that truck about once a day.

I always giggle when they brake check and the bags in the hopper go smack plop 😆 Being dry van OTR i l always wondered how they loaded those transfer trailers that wreck the atmosphere on the interstate not even the recirculation mode helps 😭

Hello! Yes this is a transfer station. The trash gets loaded into an open 53’ trailer with about 55-62k pounds. Once it’s full and leveled out it gets hauled off to a landfill to be dumped and buried. Thanks for watching!
