incredible. The simplicity. 9:40. If the Kingdom of "God" is somewhere up there and I missed it, fine [not his exact words, but meaning, yes] "but if it is in you and you missed it, that is true tragedy." Indeed.

Japanese called it Zen 禅 because of their pronunciation in Nihon Language converted from Chinese Han Language of Chan 禪, (Pali Language called it: jhāna,Sanskrit called it:dhyāna). In Romanization it is written as ZEN for westerners to know the name of the practice.

Sadguru is absolutely right. Without really having a glimpse of the beyond one cannot really start the journey. An impetus is necessary. An intense desire is enough and then a Guru will come along to show you the way. Pranam to Sadguru.

Meditation is not watching the breath. This technique has become obsolete. Now the only yoga one should learn is called Purusottama yoga. After due initiation and completing one's preparatory course, one should try to know the divine forms of Parmatma and Purusottama. Thereafter , meditate on Parmatma. One should also meditate on Purusottama. Purusottama Himself is teaching this Purusottama yoga. Meditating on God is the highest technique of meditation. If Lamagi has not seen the divine forms of Parmatma and Purusottama and cannot speak to Him, then he is yet to learn the true yoga.

Right... Now i am longing for that big time scary shocking experience to happen again, i know now that i should handle it better and let it continue and its kind of hard cause i don't know how, but that "glimpse" never leave my thoughts, so i am seeking cause I'll never be contented with this state of ignorance. I am from Philippines and I wonder if anyone here has ever awakened, though i am back in 3D'ish , i wish i could see one cause no matter how i want to go sit with Sadhguru in India, i am still so limited and bonded to do so, for this, i am feeling alone... I wish someone could hear and help me out....

How long will sadhguru keep the secret for himself? I wonder why even people aren't asking him what is the way of watching breath. If watching the sensation is not the way, how to actually watch breath? He comes till there & goes on without giving full answer & nobody asks. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I'm seeing this happen. Very disappointing.

@arjundwarkanath5 жыл бұрын
@@chlerbiegaurana7907I understand where this is going but I just asked a simple question. Question to another question is not the answer. I'm just interested in knowing how to watch the breath itself. Let's not deviate the topic.

@@arjundwarkanath because there's no point in talking about it. The process has to be experienced and transmitted in person.
@arjundwarkanath5 жыл бұрын
@@dab0331 Buddha himself gave techniques for enlightenment and never has he mentioned it should happen in my presence or any master's presence. If anything should be done in person techniques are useless. Only we can walk the path. We can't assume it's of no use talking about it, breath meditation is something most people around the world practice & it'll leave them confused if clear clarification is not given.
@dab03315 жыл бұрын
@@arjundwarkanath that's why sadhguru says it's BASIC practices. But basic practices have a limitation. Sadhguru gives basic practices too, like the upa-yoga or isha kriya. He'd rather you get a taste of something rather than nothing. But more powerful processes have to be done under supervision because like any tool it can cause harm to the user if misused. Which is why in zen it's reinforced with the monastery [lifestyle]. Because it's more than just watching the breath. My first experience was with zen breathing. It was sort beginner's luck. But even then i realized the has a limitation to it. Buddha's way was more about Gyan though; about the path of knowledge and deconstructing of philosophical arguments; the practices supplemented that There's a reason he had people follow him; as opposed to Krishna, who just lived his life. A karma yogi; a yogi of action. Not to mention buddha was a devout follow of shavism and yogic practices before he went on his own. The reason he did his own thing was because he understood that being raised as a hindu to blindly believe in these things hindered his growth. He didn't come to bring a new way (it's not new if you understand shiva) is because he saw that hindus had bhata but no gyan. They blindly believed in reincarnation rather than question it, and question as to why are they even worried about death. Same with jesus. He didn't come to create something new, he wanted to fulfill the law. But he saw that Jews had blind obedience to the law and no mercy or empathy

If people only knew what real love is. First figure out what love is and use that as your foundation to look at everything. This fool seems to not care about how he makes people feel dumb around others his sarcasm is to a point of egotism.
