I've owned 26 vehicles over the years. The pride of my current fleet of five vehicles is a 2006 Presidential Edition Town Car (Signature Limited) in Light French Silk double rare with a black canvas carriage roof and factory sunroof and factory chrome 18 spoke wheels. I'm in my 60's and I expect this Town Car will be with me through my last days. I don't drive it every day, but it is my choice for long summer road trips of ~ 2,000 to 3,000 miles - its a sublime car to soak up the miles.

LINCOLN MOTOR CARS FOUND THAT THE TOWN CAR BUYER WANTED A VERY SIMPLISTIC INTERIOR AND NOT ALOT OF BUTTONS, GADGETS OR OPTIONS IN THERE FACE WHILE DRIVING. AND LINCOLN DID A VERY GOOD JOB OF STREAMLINING THE MAIN DASH YET KEEPING IT ELEGANT, REFINED AND CURRRNT. TO BAD THEY WERNT SMART ENOUGH TO KEEP UP THE PRODUCTION OF THIS ALL AMERICAN CLASSIC LUXURY SEDAN!! RIP LINCOLN TOWN CAR

Hey hoob I already popped on mine too before I saw your video. I looked and looked and couldn't find a nice one for a nice price bro. I paid to much but I got a dam near perfect one with 70k miles. It does have a bad passenger side actuator so Iv got a little work to do on it but I don't care like you said it's 18 years old now and it's in incredibly good shape so hell with it I got what I wanted. Owned by an old dude that traded it for a Honda. So it came from a dealership. I'd rather fix it's issues myself and them have left it like it was anyway. I love the thing with all my heart and it's the best car Iv ever owned. I know I paid to much but I really don't care. After six months of looking at ones with problems for a few thousand less I'm happy with it. It was the most expensive one I saw thru my search and I got it. I must have looked like a real sucker but I was happy. Still am. It's dark cherry with the same interior as your gold one. Totally worth it if you ask me. But some people think I'm nuts. Probably true. I paid 13k for it. It's a limited edition.

Great video, thank you! I bought a 2005 T.C. with 97,000 mi. on it a year ago for $4,500 and have been loving it ever since. Thanks for the tip on the water pooling in the back floor I will take care of that situation right away, and I recharged the AC. Although it's listed as brown color it actually looks more like gold color with like a tan leather interior. Again, I love it beyond words. Thanks for the video bro. 👍❤️

Good video. We just picked up a 2007 black town car in like new condition having been kept in the garage, with only 38,000 miles. We were not looking for one but a death of an elderly man in the family of a friend, dropped it in our lap for an unusually low low price. We are now learning a lot about the town car and finding it to be a great car. At first we thought we might not keep it as a big luxury car was not what we were looking for but the more you drive it the more you like it.

Congrats on the new lincoln I'd love to find another black one. I was in a similar situation when I got my black one it was my grandma's friends car and only had 45000 miles on it. This was 12 years ago and i drove it for 8 years before I ever had to make my first repair other than brakes and oil changes. Definitely the best car I've ever owned. Good luck with your lincoln I think you'll enjoy it and thanks for watching a commenting I have other lincoln town car videos if you wanna check them out too and I'm sure I'll be posting more.

Find one from the south because these cars rot badly in the rear fenders and rockers in states that snow a lot like New England. Unless garaged. The 4.6 though is a legend and most reliable Ford engine ever made. Common to see 300k to 400k plus miles.

I'd like to hear what you think about my above comment about the 13k. It doesn't matter now and it's not like I'd try to take it back I knew what I was getting into but I couldn't find the one I wanted for cheap. Or be in the right place at the right time kinda thing. I know they got me but Iv got my dream car with now 71k on it. I'll bet the only time it's ever seen 3000rpm was on my test drive. The whole bottom of it looks like a car that's 3 years old or less not 18. As I said I love the thing. I truly do it's great. The idea of driving it to work wakes me right up in the morning and I'm not a morning person.

13 is a little on the high side but I guess it's not completely unreasonable for low mileage excellent condition. But if you like it who cares lol, buying a car you love is always better than a good deal on a car you hate. Those limited are hard to find and color seems to make a big price difference. Black is outrageous if you can even find one. They're getting super rare and white seems to be a pretty hot color too. I'm glad you foundna lincoln you love and appreciate you stopping by the channel. Thanks for watching and commenting. This is a great video. I'm fixing g to by me a Town Car. I've never had one. It worries me getting something I've never owned. I like to hit the road and not look back for days at a time. I'm gonna need something reliable. I'll probably have regular Springs put on the back of the line I get too. I'm looking at two different ones right now for around 3,000 but I'm going to try to get it for 2500. One is a 2002 and one is a 2000. This guy bought one for his daughter who just got her license and she doesn't like that big car. It's got brand new tires and battery and a tune-up and an oil change the other one's pretty but it's at a car lot in it probably needs all that stuff done. I'm scared of the car lots!

Worst towncar problem I had was one I bought was dying at the stop light and I took it shop after shop after shop well what happened was the transmission started acting up months later nobody could find out that’s what it was and then wouldn’t go in D anymore. So if it’s dying at a light possible transmission problem. In my case I swapped it and it was fine after, but the guy who sold me the car sure as hell did not mention that job was coming up.
