I bought one of these 10 months ago Two things. Make sure you know what their warranty covers and how much they charge for shipping of a part that fails under warranty after the first 30 days.The second thing is you will have to deal with an automated warranty consultant out of China with a few day response time and parts can take well over a month to get shipped. Im still waiting on the handlebar parts for over 30 days but they had no problem charging my credit card as soon as the part was ordered

Got mine last year rite after they did the upgrades. Just over 1,400.00/ 100.00 for shipping. 300 miles later Tweeked the brakes a little and now they do lock-up. I am 56 and this is my first and only e-bike. I love mine. Pulls my 12 ft. native slayer like butter. The mec-disk vs hydro brake is easy for me to maintain. Saves me money on gas and my insurance went down. These bikes now 2023 go for 2500.00 now. Love the review man. God speed.

I'm telling y'all the Freesky bikes are better option. Specifically the freesky Himalaya. 750 watts, bafang motor, Samsung battery, 32mph just throttle. Sick ass bike for $1300 right now. People stop and ask me about it everytime I get on it.

The hill I live on is a 5% grade and it's steep. Doesn't sound steep but it is. Climbing with my regular mtn bike I'm traversing to get home. Not with my Deer SUV! Childs play. The hill you tried to climb is 14%? That's real steep!

I hit a couple of patches of soil/mud run off on the sidewalk yesterday and that back tire started to slide all over the place. Luckily the mud patches weren't longer than 4 to 6 ft or I would have eaten it for sure. I need to handle that pronto.

Rad 6 plus can't get out of its own way. Aventon aventure or Hemingway will kill this bike. From Components to power is definitely worth the few extra bucks.

From the title and thumbnail for the video, I thought the joint was gonna break or something 😂 Good video, and the bike seems like a good deal. 5 degrees is a 8.75% grade, and 14 degrees is a 24.93% grade, so pretty decent climbing ability. You would have made it up that last one if you could shift.

I saw your post and figured that I'd post this here. I cut and pasted this, but figure that I should be entitled to because I wrote it: I purchased my Cruiser about 7 months back, partly because of their world-class warranty that basically covered everything but tires and brakes for 2 years. Unfortunately. now that I need a defective part replaced that should be covered by the warranty, Magicycle has just told me that my written (in the owner's manual) warranty had expired ONE WEEK after my purchase. I guess that they feel that it's ok to retroactively change the terms of a warranty. Where I come from, that's called fraud. They seemed to feel that they were being generous when they offered to sell me the part I need for 20% off. I will probably have to buy it as the problem I've been experiencing since day one is a serious safety issue. (Very intermittently, the throttle and motor have power when the bike is off. My bike and I got into a wrestling match in my kitchen, even before I rode it for the first time. It's display was off, but it wasn't.) Anyway, I like my bike, but the company's actions, not so much. I really can't think of any product that I'd buy with only a one week warranty. Even a banana lasts longer. Rob, I wish you luck. i think you're going to need it.

Add a mid-drive to it and it should climb the hill after fixing the shifter. A front hub motor would likely spin the front wheel.

The new Magicycle Cruiser Pro has hydraulic Tektro brakes, a more powerful motor (both are 750 watts, but the Pro is rated at 96 nm of torque instead of 86 nm for the standard Cruiser), a bigger battery (20 AH 52 volt instead of 15 Ah 52 volt), a Zoom branded suspension fork (instead of unbranded on the Cruiser), and it comes with a derailleur guard. I would recommend purchasing the controller skid plate from the website if you get a Cruiser or Cruiser Pro, and a better light, as the included head lamp is only 80 lumens. I have a Cruiser Pro, which I use for food delivery, and I absolutely love it. It is a few hundred dollars more than the standard, but is definitely worth it for the upgrades.

Yea so I unlocked it in my first video. The video link is in the description. I weigh 210 and I can do 26mph throttle only. 28mph is the top speed on pedal assist. The power and acceleration is really good. You can even feel it in pedal assist 1

Is this bike equivalent to the Rad Rover? If so, get the Rover. Rad has a good customer service department. The Rad Rover Step Tru is a good choice too. Spend the extra money knowing you'll get good customer service from an ebike company. Always stay safe and wear a helmet.

Is it still 200 off? If so sweet also does the bike cables have plugs so you can work on the bike easier. Some cheaper bikes don't have them so it's very challenging to, for example take off the tire.
