How does the thermal coefficient of the Epoxy compare to the plastic, if the expansion is to different may cause a break at extreme temperatures, but may still be good for an emergency fix.

It lasted about two weeks. It allowed us to order a replacement part from online which was cheaper than buying from the local parts store.
