Unless I get a better job, I will be watching much more than this video before I buy a Patek Philippe

Top effort Tom! Really enjoyed this. I've been a big fan of the Duometre for many years. This new update is great especially the slimmer case and curved sapphire (TAG Heuer glassbox-esque) but I can't help but feel a little disappointed that the movement is no longer made with German Silver (like Langes).

A cracking insight Tom. I confess I'm a big fan of JLC. I would love to add this watch to my collection but after emptying my sofa a many times the money doesn't get close to owning this one. For me I can appreciate this watch and the engineering that has gone into it from afar. Thanks for sharing.

This is a great looking piece. I had no idea JLC made movements for Patek and others. I knew a watchmaker in Birmingham who told me he had to service a Jaeger once. Apparently some of the bearings were made from rubies- ‘imagine if I’d lost one of them’ he said.

T4YC. There's alot going on. My personal feelings are that we have here the exact opposite of "sprezzatura". I love the simple 3 hander. With no views inside, keeping the romance going.

Just a tip , jaeger is an European name which should be pronounced > yäger
@fenepi9 ай бұрын
Wrong. Edmond Jaeger was a Frenchman. Jaeger-LeCoultre was founded and to this day remains in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. So the French pronunciation is correct.
@MrSaadmubarak9 ай бұрын
Nope, he pronounced it right, "jay-jer". Why don't you Google how the CEO of the actual company even pronounces it.
