The Timex re-issue has some history at least. And I think the 12-hr bezel is a much simpler implementation if you are only worried about 2 time zones.

The Tag is a GMT. The bezel isn't locked, it's bi-directional.

Another educational and enjoyable vid. I'll put my vote in for a Pepsi that I have had for several years and gives me joy every time I put it on: the Seiko "sea urchin" with Pepsi bezel. Good looking, comfortable, rugged and accurate...and won't break the bank. It's been a companion on most of my recent trips and I can't find anything to complain about. Looking forward to your next vid!

Actually ordered the BALL pepsi myself. BALL is one of those brands that you don't see often but when you do people generally have only good things to say about them. Plus like you said Ball looks interesting and they are pretty unique. Not something that you would see pop up very often if going to a watch meet etc.

I might take some heat for this comment, but I kinda like Raymond Weil - largely because they are 40 year old company born in the midst of the 70s quartz crisis and still today are independent and family-run. They still use quartz and have a few unoriginal designs but have a unique back story.

You should take a look at Cronos & San Martin “Pepsi” GMT. They both have ceramic, 24 clicks, bi-directional, two-tone bezels. They are office GMTs that are ETA-2836-2 clones with a 24 click GMT hand, not the cheaper 21j GMT movement found in cheaper homages.

I got an Orient Mako II from a private seller who had replaced the diver bezel with a 12 Hour Pepsi bezel. And honestly, I like it a lot more. Makes it less divery and more something I'd legitimately use while traveling. Plus makes it unique.

The Glycine Combat Sub is awesome. Not that version, but in general, it's great. Invicta doesn't make them, they are just the leading shareholder. Ditto When last checked the Pepsi was not a standard version you cound get from glycine, therefore was this just a model that Drop requested, is yes then it does deserve any hate TTT. My glycine is probably my best watch for keeping time -- keeps great time -- much better than any of my seiko movements -- thin case that will slide under any shirt -- model existed way before invicta purchased

Similar to your Ball musings, I just received a new Christopher Ward C65 Trident GMT on bracelet but haven’t worn it yet. I rock SKX009 on NATO regularly and that solar PADI Seiko sometimes as beaters, but decided one Black Bay was enough and no interest in the Rolex meant a Pepsi GMT with some originality was the only way I’d go deeper into this colorway.

Agree T3 I am a COKE fan myself finding Pepsi a little flat...Just picked up (or should I say nicked a vintage Rolex Coke in perfect condition & was thinking of doing something very different (and perhaps very stupid as well) and have it fitted with a Rubber B RED strap similar to Kevin O'Leary, yes I am hearing you laugh out loud at this point, but who know it may look OK, I will still have the original bank, if you don't try the COKE them then how will you know. In terms off your high standard in TT normal style VLOG, the Ball GMT in my view in definitely a watch I will be taking a look at as it isn't a homage & has some nice nice design features.
