I listened to many of your videos, and appreciate your perspective.. Buy and Hold definitely still have it's place, and should still be the main tools for majority of people, the same is true for SSB T-Bills and Money Market Fund.. However I don't agree with the Options portion of this video.. You are just highlight the Cons of the Options, which will off course will discourage people from it.. Nobody ask you to use Options as the only tool (just like nobody should put all their money in T-Bills), but it is actually a very powerful tool if you know what you are doing, and you can make consistent income out of it..

I really do intent to discourage use of it for most people. Reason: there are too many courses trying to get people to trade with it. I think the downsides are not mentioned enough. But no probs, if youve a good grasp of it and had success I can understand your POV

those ads/courses downplay or withhold downside risks. i was one of the victim. as Charlie Munger (RIP) once put it, those course sellers are like drug pushers.

Time to look at long term bonds such as TLT and TMF
@joshconsultancy2 ай бұрын
Ah bonds are fully dependent on interest rate. Especially the longer duration ones 🙏

I really don’t understand what makes it so interesting about T-Bills??? The inflation already even out or making a lost for investing in your T-Bills LOL😂. Anything lesser than 3%, is really a crazy idea to invest in, I would say silly to invest in.

Thinking of covered call ETF before but hesitate due to the dividend nature which 30% will be withheld.
@joshconsultancy2 ай бұрын
Explaining abit clearer, covered call ETF yields 8-10% Underlying has options within it. Would not advice to use it

Hi Josh for the coming Sep SSB the rate still at 3.1%? I plan to pump additional $30k for the coming tranche if interest rates at 3%

3.1 is 10y average. Yes 👌🏻

Can use cpfoa to join your cash solution?

“Cash” Oa simplify, either invest into equities, pay off loan, move to SA or keep for the 2.5% 👌🏻

JEPI is good, but there's SPYI QQQI and IWMI
@joshconsultancy2 ай бұрын
I’m suggesting to in general avoid them. Simplify and pure equity may be better
