I stopped celebrating last year and I’ve felt soo much relief. I can still enjoy my family without running about making a TON of food for one day. I am a lot like you, I never understood why I was celebrating it but as I grew closer to the Lord I KNEW it was a holiday made by man not having anything to do with honoring God. God would never encourage his people to be gluttonous. I don’t celebrate Halloween, Christmas, New Years, Easter, 4th of July and so on. And I don’t feel bad about it, feels good. I’m raising my kids this way and they all understand we live up to Gods standards not the way of the world.

The elemental spirits that still exist upon Mother Earth , were called demons - day- mons. The Catholic Church changed it to be known as demons and vilified them to help the problem change over to Christianity. Xmas ? Legalism is not why Christ came. 👉"Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 😂😂😂 if your a “real Christian” then you should know it’s about “intent”! Just bc you celebrate on the same day doesn’t mean your “energy” or thanks or praise is going to some false gods that literally don’t exist… lol we celebrate thanksgiving and give thanks to the one true God doesn’t matter when or where or what anyone else’s intentions are same with Christmas! It’s soooo dumb I hear about this every years sense I was a kid. If u had a foster child and had no clue what his birthday was and someone “tricked you” to thinking it was the day hurlers birthday was and u celebrate that child every year on hitlers birthday do you think that guy who lets say loves Hitler is like “hahaha I showed them now they don’t know it but secretly they are celebrating for Hitler lmao…” like no it’s still for that foster kid and changes ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! 😅 so if I celebrate Jesus on Christmas and give thanks for all my blessing on those days it’s the same thing! Good lord have mercy on your brains 😅

Thanks for the info on Thanksgiving. It was really an eye-opener. I didn't believe in celebrating Halloween or Christmas for similar reasons and now I can add Thanksgiving to my list of uncelebrated Holidays. Thanks for your enlightenment on Thanksgiving 🦃. It's much appreciated 👍🏼.

I celebrate the Holidays! And worship God Jehovah and get the word out about Jesus...He is the reason for the season! He is the reason we are alive, breathing, walking, and talking. Yes! I will use these days to speak of Him while people who don't know Him are in the *marketplace* to hear it! *He that have ears let him hear!*

I remember this family came in the emergency room with their son and he was unconscious and tried resuscitated him from eating too much food on Thanksgiving and he had sadly died. Thanksgiving seems like a sacrificial day as well.

The day designated for coming together to thank God, praise His name, and feast in His honor is the Seven-day Sabbath, as it has been since Genesis 2:2-3. As we reflect on the origins of Thanksgiving and other holidays with roots in pagan traditions, it's important to remember the significance of the Sabbath. God has given us the Sabbath as a weekly opportunity to come together, break bread, and celebrate in a way that honors Him. As the Bible reminds us: 'But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.' (Matthew 15:9) and 'If ye love me, keep my commandments.' (John 14:15) The Sabbath is a sacred time, established by God at creation (Genesis 2:2-3) and reaffirmed in the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:8-11), as a day of rest and spiritual rejuvenation. We're instructed to refrain from buying and selling (Nehemiah 10:31), and to prepare our meals ahead of time on the Preparation Day (Exodus 16:23). The importance of the Sabbath extends into the New Testament, with Jesus affirming its significance (Mark 2:27-28) and demonstrating how to honor it. In Greek and Hebrew, 'Sabbath' denotes a cessation from work, underscoring its role as a day of rest. The Bible, centered on Christ, presents the Sabbath as an enduring sign of our relationship with God, a day set apart for worship, rest, and spiritual connection. In the creation account in Genesis, God established the pattern of days from evening to evening (Genesis 1:5), marking the day not from midnight to midnight, but from sunset to sunset. This principle is seen in the preparation for the Sabbath, where people made ready before sunset (Exodus 16:23), indicating that the Sabbath begins at sunset on Friday and ends at sunset on Saturday. This biblical timing differs from the modern midnight-to-midnight reckoning of days, emphasizing the importance of understanding biblical context in observing the Sabbath.

I truly appreciate you!! Thank you for your support. I totally agree that we don't need Thanksgiving to give thanks to God. When the Bible clearly tells us when and why to do it. Much love, and thank you again. God bless you and your family!!!

Two years ago on Thanksgiving my Mom passed away, and I started hating the holidays from that point forward. I started waking up 3-6 months after her passing and learning the truth about these holidays were mind blowing. Except Halloween, that's a given lol. I'm still overwhelmed with all that I'm learning about this world. Sometimes I want to go back to sleep lol.

Isn’t it a good thing that evil rituals and traditions transitioned into good? We NOW celebrate our Lord and Savior on those dates, and to me that’s what we should be thankful for. The growth and grace. The family and friends that God has blessed us with. That’s what it means to me.

Even though we don't celebrate these holidays as Christians, we should still use these times as opportunities to share the Gospel. Sharing your faith about being thankful for God's blessings is a great way to guide a conversation. Especially during Christmas time. Many people are distracted by the pagan traditions, idols and rituals. We can use these "holidays" to spread the good news of the Gospel, In Jesus' Name, Amen.

The thing about any holiday is that in Christ, you either celebrate or not depending on your own preference. It doesn’t matter what the origin of the holiday is if you are celebrating and honoring the Lord Jesus because your intention when celebrating is what matters, not the general meaning of the holiday. Romans 14:5-6 KJV - One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks

What the enemy meant for bad God will turn it around for his good. As long as I know that I’m worshipping Jesus I don’t care about the past. God measures a man heart. If I’m not convicted about it. I’m good. To each is own. I will continue to enjoy my days off from work to worship my father.

Thanksgiving to us is left over day. We make just enough for two days and look forward to not cooking. Jesus Christ is and will always be our lord in our house. But the holidays are what you make them. Thank you for your knowledge on the subject of the holidays. It’s important to know the history of what and why you’re celebrating.

The way I look at it, it's what's in your heart, if gathering together as family and giving thanks and enjoying good food and good company, then go for it. Just because it started out as a pagan holiday doesn't mean that's what it is now. As long as I can remember, we always prayed before the dinner and gave thanks to God for the food and good health. Not going to let this ruin my Thanksgiving Holiday. It's all about giving thanks and making memories, if you're not praising the false gods then you have nothing to worry about.

I see every holiday as time off because on other days everyone would be in school and at work. It would be hard to gather as a family or even just to get a day of rest and relaxation. I don't buy gifts, I don't eat or spend excessively.

Say it isn’t so!! I don’t t know if you know this but Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving on the 2nd Monday of October. I’m assuming , because of your video and how Ancient Rome celebrated and how England took on that tradition. This is why Canada celebrates on that day. As you know we are a monarchy and we are connected to England. That is insane. I always wondered why we celebrated differently than the USA. Thanks Brother. Now I know.
