You would have had a better experience if the sew in matched your texture . I love getting a yaki or light yaki texture. That way you can straightened it to be silky or leave the natural texture when new growth starts coming in . Thank you for sharing your experience with this one ❤❤❤

Love the content and skin and hair looks great! This hair thing is not easy. With sew ins - You don't have access to hair to take care of and must always try to blend in your hair well with heat 😢 Clip-ins - Hair can get damaged because of constant removal and installing and also need to blend leave out with heat😢 Braids - Can't leave it in for too long else your takedown will be hectic and also your hairline will recede😢 Cornrows- Don't last long and hairline issues too😅 Wigcap - Good wigs expensive 😢 Where did you purchase your bundles. Thanks for the video 😊

Hi Jessica! There is something about it that is appealing. I liken it to lash extensions. You wake up and you look done up already, but wow they really get old and irritating very quickly. I love the idea of ponytails but I have been struggling to get a good vendor. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Tshego! Absolutely love your content as it is something I can relate to being a girl in corporate and having long thick relaxed hair. How are you maintaining having long hair and reducing breakage from certain protective styles. I have found that I can't do braids "singles" and Cornrows just don't look good after week 3 and the cost per style is becoming hectic. Wigs also just don't vibe with me having a very low hairline and the cost of really good raw hair is also just hectic. I was hoping you would have had a good experience with a sew-in. Please keep on sharing your journey ❤

Hey! Thanks you so much for the feedback 😊 I agree with you on the damage that singles do. It’s really hard to land on an effective protective style for relaxed hair and I’m finding everything to be abrasive 😩 cornrows are a good option but to your point, they don’t have longevity. The good thing about the raw hair is that if you land on a really good vendor, you can keep and reuse those bundles for years. I also understand the challenge of a low hairline with wigs- at some point I shaved my hairline and sideburns 😂😂😂(but I do not recommend doing that). I think u-part wigs may be a good option, however my concern with this option is over manipulating the leave out. Let’s keep looking, we will land on something ❤️

Hey Retha, possibly hey, from an accessibility perspective but I’ve been told that the actual clips also cause damage to the hair, especially if you’ll be removing and applying each day.
