WATCH THIS BEFORE YOU START LIGHT SHORE JIGGING - FISHING
This is the third part of the watch this for LSJ series.
In this video, I show you how I break a spot apart, how I work the jig, where I cast etc.
This on the water, mostly POV video shows you my process when I fish, I was mostly talking to you guys on this video and was hopeful that I could show you a few things to make the process easier for you. Down the line, we make a catching video...for now, I just wanted you guys to see how I do things.

What does sounder do? And can you list rod information being used in this video?

A sounder, or a fish finder, is a commonly used term for a specialised ultrasound scanner that you can install on a boat or a kayak. It uses the ultrasound tech to scan the water and reveal what's underneath.. much like the technology used in medicine to look at a fetus in a womb. Helps the kayakers see fish in the water!

Winter is peak for fishing - Dubai residents can get fishing permits, tourists can go with charters as they have permits to take people fishing.

So I tried this technique of doing few cranks then pause like this, I got snag and lost two jigs. Can you help me out?

If fishing in a snaggy area, or an area you don't know well, remove any trebles and fish only with a single assist hook. Then when you get to know the area better, you can upgrade. Personally, I only use trebles on a sandy bottom, or if I know there's no big snags, like trees, big rocks or even just branches. If it's snaggy, then I use only single or double assist hooks. The second thing you can do is not use super strong hooks. You see people on YT saying stock hooks on some of these cheaper jigs are trash, so they go and put Owners and BKKs on them, and while, yes, this does ensure you don't lose as many fish, it also means that if you snag, these hooks aren't gonna bend out. So this is a tradeoff.. Cos when you snag a cheap hook, you can usually pull the rod (with the tip down!), bend out the hook and get out of the snag, and save your jig. You don't have to have a super strong leader either. Just depending on how bad the hook is, even a 4lb leader sometimes won't break before the hook bends out 🤣

@@vsonic86 I dont fish at night a lot, but actually in the previous video, Kit talks about UV glow jigs and UV light you can carry to activate them (honestly your phone flash light works just as well). So if the jig glows in the dark, it may attract some fish. The times I did fish in the dark, it’s usually prime feeding time, I just use some bait, like squid or sardines and they eat it like crazy. Visibility is not an issue in this case, as the bait releases plenty of scent to attract fish.

@@TheFishingKit 10gram jigpara in zebra color, the one you brag about. 😭 don’t know what dept. looks very sandy environment. Try to follow the direction from this video, jerk/crank 3 time and stop. Then snag, 😞heard the zebra color is the ultimate color of all the color?😭
