Well, it's free because it's in beta. But honestly, it's the beginning of the end for coders in this space. I was able to quickly set up what you would call basic automation with data, but for a non-coder it saved dozens of hours learning stuff that won't matter by the end of this year. NL coding is here and it's here to stay, and this a wonderful window into the future.

What is "NL" coding?

Slang for Natural Language. When you build a GPT you use naturally worded instructions to get the AI to do what you want it to do. Basically, a conversation. That is what Zapier is bringing to the table with these integrations. The ability to communicate well has never been more important, not just with other humans, but with the AI itself. And by using a simple conversation, you no longer need to know coding, or won't by the end of the year. Even complex coding. I've heard there have also been coding discovered that the AI was making up itself, and humans can;t understand it. @@redriderbbgun8018

It's a good start. Like most generative AI stuff it's not quite there yet BUT for some use cases it's amazing. I'm glad you kept going at the end. This is the equivalent of someone who knows how to code and could manually do a task that takes them 5 mins but wants to automate it and takes them 10-20 hours to code and test something to reliably work. I think playing with AI is no different. I've geeked out at this and seen people roll their eyes because they had a bad experience with AI like this, but it'll be worth it one day. Be curious, poke at it, try different things, eventually you really have a deep understanding of how to use it better that you can combine your life experiences to solve niche problems! Exciting, isn't it? :)

It was so frustrating working with Central. No matter what i built, it said ''i can't actually do anything, you have to now recreate all the work you did in an a software that can actually execute tasks and automations, like Zapier''. And im like ''so you're literally incapable of doing anything, like a simulator?'' And it responded with ''yes''. I've asked this question on their own forum, and they said it is indeed only a simulator and can't even run automations.
