I did this for 6 years of my life in my mid 20s met over 300+ dogs and cats in those 6 years, gave elder dogs the best final days of they're lives, helped to get so many dogs get rescued or adopted, and adopted + changed the coarse of several animals including a euthanasia case that has now been my dog for 10 years. I absolutely know the feelings you get when helping any animal. I appreciate and applaud your videos.

I can't watch every episode of Sitting with Dogs because sometimes it's too painful and overwhelming. I love it when I do tune in and find a dog who has defrosted thanks to Rocky's interventions, and, even better if someone is being adopted that episode. But overall this is the most heartwarming channel anyone could watch. It was so lovely to see Mila losing her fear so fast. She's a sweetheart.

Our neighbors had a boxer named Brax, he was one goofball! When I was trimming the plants he would play on the other side of the fence and often I got a headbump and he mades noises so I had to say hey silly stop it! When we got our black German shepherd Eri they where a half year apart in age they ran up and down the fence and would watch for one an other. We all laughed so hard with two goofball’s. Brax was 8 when he died from cancer, Eri died age 10, when he died she always went up to the fence looking for him. Eri died of different medical conditions. My husband said luckily you work to pay her medical bills because when we took the total I would have a new car. In those 10 years. I had my shadow that kept the household safe, my son never told a lot but he told Eri everything so I could find out what happened and where he got those bruises once again. I was there when she took her last breath and she’s been cremated three weeks before her passing she put her nose against a announcement for border collie pups, I told her yes girl pups, she did that three times. I cried thinking I wanted to have kids of her but due her illnesses I did go forward not wanting an other family going through the same story. My husband told me take that number she’s telling you something you’re depressed and she feels you need a buddy. I told her I loved her thanked her for all the love and moments we had. Now I have two border collies. Boxers aren’t my kind of breed but they make perfect dogs for the right match.

Boxers are the best dogs. I had one growing up. She was a very happy dog and very loyal to the couple who raised me. I love your videos. My fur baby went to the bridge and I’ve been thinking of going to sit with dogs now. I have been trying hard to help my friend in Ky who runs a rescue. The shelters are overwhelmed right now and it stresses the dogs out so having visitors does help. My friend is actually in the hospital right now with heart issues. She’s been working another hoarder case and it’s causing her heart stress. Also along with toys donate financially to shelters and rescues. It costs a fortune to care for the animals medically. Her strays come in with so many health problems. There are so many dump cases because of financial reasons. Love you Rocky🫶🏻🐶

My boxer was the sweetest dog ever. He weighed 100 pounds after I had him for a few months. I rescued him from a shelter, he was scheduled for euthanasia! He was 2 years old, he lived to age 10. When the time came, I held him in my arms until he passed. He was a wonderful pup, very loyal and loving. To my baby Herschel, an angelic soul.

I had a soulmate cat that died on me. I told my husband not to get me a replacement pet because I was all tore up about my cat dying. I'm a quadriplegic and cats love me because I'm still all the time. So a month later on Christmas my step daughter gave me a kitten. It was so much help for my broken heart. Come on Rocky. You need to fill that void. I hope you can realize it soon.
