So the Radiator is Leaking in my 2006 WK Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.7 now. Watch me replace it and give a few tips to make it easier for you. At one point I said "That was a B*#ch!". I have a great tip so you don't say the same thing! Lol

I did my wife’s Jeep the other day. I didn’t remove the fan. The radiator was sandwiched in there between the tranny cooler and the fan. Very tight trying to remove it. Gone are the days of a quick radiator change. It all worked out though. Would not look forward to doing this again. 😅 WHEW!!!!!!!!!

Our Simple Adventures does having a po420 code bad catalytics cause the radiator to crack? Or are those two totally different issues?

Yeah those would be 2 different issues. If you search the PO420 code it looks like there are a lot of tips how to fix it. Good Luck! Thanks for the question!

Our Simple Adventures ok ty! Nxt week I gotta replace the whole cat system 😩 it’s bad clogged and “baked” she has 170K (07)and it’s one after another of work and replacements recently 😭 I want her to reach the 300K range 🤞🏽

This def seems like one of the easier radiators to replace. Fairly quick and easy. How much antifreeze does it require?

I do enjoy your videos, but I must tell you that you forgot the bottom radiator rubber mounts, you pulled the upper ones and transferred them but forgot the two on the bottom of the radiator. I didn’t’ see you do one other thing that is also particularly important. When changing the radiator or fluids, you need to burp the cooling system. It is a simple procedure to do after you have added new fluid. On your right side as you look at the engine the upper radiator hose has an Allen screw right where the hose connects to the engine. With the engine running and the heater on undue that screw. Pour more fluid in the radiator slowly till all of the air comes out where the screw was and the fluid starts to overflow, put the Allen screw back in and you will have burped the radiator cooling system, replace the cap and you’re done. Air in the system can cause the engine to overheat and fail. Just saying. Please keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing more from you.
