Sorry about the bad day you had back then. I just replaced the leaking coolant pump on my 2007 which was easy and didn't know why the antifreeze wouldn't go down in the radiator until I found your video. I knew nothing about the bleeder using the T-50 torx and you saved my day. Thank you so much.

I had an issue where my cabin would not heat. The engine top end would air lock. What it ended up being was a water pump seal leak. The coolant would heat and go into the overflow/surge tank after that when the engine would cool it would not pull the coolant back into the system it would pull air in through the water pump seal. After time the engine cooling would air bind due to the bubble of air in the top of the engine. Once I replaced the water pump the issue went away.

Okay let’s just say I have a radiator funnel that’s specifically used for bleeding the coolant system. Do I still need to do all that bleeding from the screw ??

Funnels to fill... Less spillage...also tourque specs on thermostat housing bolts... GREAT VIDEO

Sooo… I’m guessing this is the step by step (some details I think got musssed in the editing but still good video) -Fill coolant directly into radiator from bleed valve and radiator cap. -Bleeder closed w/ radiator cap open/start vehicle. -remove/open bleeder and fill with coolant so radiator and bleeder both full. -cap radiator abd leave open bleeder. -turn off vehicle allow to cool -with radiator cap on and bleeder still open turn back on vehicle w cold engine. Refill bleeder and open radiator cap fill with coolant so both radiator and bleeder are full. -place radiator cap ON and allow bleeder to let out air bubbles and then replace bleeder screw once bubble are gone. -let vehicle cool and drive…??? I hope that’s about right.

I stripped the screw you out the T-50 in do you know what the name of that screw is and how i can get it out?
@mattstefaniak65982 жыл бұрын
Try using an easy out, be gentle you don't strip it worse. Take it slow like 4-LOW

Run 2 cycles of water with heat on and get to temp. That will flush the remaining fluid out
@Maxxis19412 жыл бұрын
@@fgrau7376 Or...just use a garden hose and back flush it. Work smarter, not harder.

yeah hahaha your tire needs rubber and brass stems but your computer needs tpms sensors which are steel and aluminum so what do you do? you buy 5 tpms sensors and pvc pipes to put them into the pvc pipe get another stem and add it to the pvc pipe and inflate to your reccomended tire preasure and just leave your tire preasure tube(tpms sensaors inside)leave it in your car inflated to right air preasure so all your tpms sensors can be read by the computer and all your tires are safe from tpms sensors so your tire valves will last forever.just check your tires from time to time and keep air at the right level preasure inside your tpms sensor tube and in your tires.
