The placenta is used as a filter too tho, so it could be a good thing that toxins are found in it- seeing as it was filtered out before getting to our babies!

This is such a frustrating topic. I am not planning to have more children, but I am raising both girls and boys, and I want them to be healthy. I am trying hard, but I am also living very frugally and clean products are often expensive. It is hard to balance.

Just do what you can. If it's stressing you out, leave it alone, the stress is worse. I'm someone with a whole bunch of health issues and I know of people with similar conditions to me who haven't been able to get pregnant or miscarried, yet here I am, pregnant doing slightly better with my health conditions and haven't even bothered stressing out about all the toxins because reality is they're everywhere and inevitable. I just do what I can in the season I'm in, and right now we can't afford doing all the expensive swaps. Do what your able to manage and don't sweat the rest.

It’s not a big sacrifice to cut them out of your life in the first place and these companies couldn’t give and F about your health so why let their products into your home? Also research usually has monetary backers and is hard to be impartial. May be purposefully lacking.

It's been a month since I've switched to a holistic environment. I can tell the difference. I love branch basics, enviroscent, primally pure, and attitude living. Awesome chemical free products. Thanks for this video. I love all of your videos.

Respectfully, there is no such thing as a chemical-free product. Everything you listed is chemical, because everything is chemical. Non-toxic is the correct term. Just wanted to let you know, because the scientific community and large corporations label the holistic community as misinformed. They use it as a scapegoat to ignore our real concerns about the toxins they expose us to. I hear it all the time with the term organic. They’re like “oh organic just means containing carbon hahaha” as they continue to poison us. But when we arm ourselves with scientific knowledge, they can’t deny us. 🤍

Some people are better at filtering toxins and handling inflammation than others. Eventually it will catch up to you, so you may as well start taking steps at removing toxins now than later in your 30s...

Studies have also shown that taking ibuprofen and naproxen can disrupt ovulation. So, if you are having cramps a hot water bottle and dark chocolate are likely to be the best remedies. I read this from Period Power by Maisie Hill. The author is also a doula. Thanks for the video. :)

I have loved your videos & send them to all my female friends but I'm sorry, you lost me with this one. Obviously harmful chemicals should be avoided & endocrine-disrupters ARE harmful. But there is not significant research to show that WiFi signals have any real impact on fertility. & I mean, speaking from experience, I have lived a standard American life for 22 years & have never once had an irregular period. I accidentally got pregnant with my 1st (week after marriage, lol) & I am pregnant with my 2nd child now. I think we tried for 3 months. This video unfortunately does a disservice to women who have ACTUAL fertility issues in misinforming them, saying that their disrupted cycles are caused by WiFi. It's simply not true. Try stress & genetics. Also unhealthy diets & too much caffeine. THOSE are things you can target first when trying to increase fertility.

@@alyssazak2647 right but WiFi signals do not affect your hormones. There's just not enough evidence to support this claim

Hi not to do with the video but do you think there is a way to change your diet to conceive the gender you want I have seen videos claiming to having eaten certain foods have helped them to conceive a certain gender. I would just like to hear your take

Gender is determined by the sperm only and there is no way to control which sperm meets egg short of IVF or something like that.

I wanted a boy and followed every old wives tale I could find for the month leading up to conception plus during the week we were looking to conceive. Success!! Male and female sperm function differently once they are on their way to the egg.

There's many common products that can disrupt your hormones if you want to research that- there's lots of available info. Not to mention even regular personal lubricants can impact fertility by affecting sperm motility! Something I didn't know that once I stopped using was able to get pregnant much faster. Pretty overwhelming really 😅

Wow. Using this topic to make a buck is the lowest you’ve gone Bridget… really, really gross. Avid rule breaker for all of these “tips” and I got pregnant the first try with both my babies. Conversely, many people in the world who don’t have access to a lot of these first world luxuries still suffer from fertility troubles - so it leaves me wondering, is makeup and windex really the root of the problem here? 🤔 Giving people who are desperate for a child a link to your sponsored EMF blocker is just selling uninformed false hope.
