Could you possibly make a video about precipitous labors and techniques that can be used? I just entered my 3rd trimester and my mom and all my sisters who have had babies have had precipitous labors and would love to feel ready.

Then why do doctors impose women to lay on their backs during delivery? Is it that they are not aware of the pelvic mechanism or what? It's a great punishment. Thank you for this video. I'm not gonna be forced to do that.

Last month I got the Depo injection after my period ended I have spent the week doing intercourse I have also been taking ovulation test which some of the test are darker than others. Yesterday was the end of ovulation for me but I still had sex, will I be able to become pregnant even if on the Depo shot and will I experience the same symptoms of pregnancy now?

Was going through early labour for 3 days, surges still hurt and because of how exhausted I was they became unbearable and I had to go into hospital
1st trimester felt so slow as I found out at 3wks.

This is so beautiful! I had a natural birth for my second baby and am excited to try for a home birth with our third baby!
@hclements388419 сағат бұрын
These videos are great, but it's good to remember that these are generalizations and birth can go so many different ways. With my second baby my placenta felt like jello, but with my third my placenta was extremely difficult to birth, even harder than getting my second baby out had been. I felt totally blindsided by the experience and had a very hard time emotionally with my placenta struggles, I think partly because I was so surprised and confused that I was having to work extremely hard to get through the placenta part. Now I'm pregnant with my fourth and I'm working on preparing myself to practice radical acceptance all throughout birth and lean deeply into my intuition and what my body is telling me.

Such good tips!! My water broke at around 8am but I had no contractions for a couple hours. The hospital still told me to come asap. Baby ended up coming 36h later 😅🙃 could it have been different if I stayed home longer? even if my water broke?
@verilyisayuntoyou4329Күн бұрын
You definitely don’t need to go to the hospital as soon as your waters break.

I don't understand how things work in America. What does mandatory even mean? I mean if you give birth and then for example dont want the screening for genetic diseases for your baby (for whatever reason), but the hospital says its mandatory, can't you just say no thanks and leave? How could they possibly force you to do it? Its your child and everone has bodily autonomy. Does mandatory just mean 'this is what we usually do and if you don't go along with it we will cause a big fuss'? Will they call the police if you leave without the 'mandatory' treatments? I don't understand how anything that is mandatory is actually enforceable. Genuinely wondering.

Great tips, I can see how these factors played into my two births in different ways. I would love to see a video on how subsequent births may differ from the first time - my second was so much easier that I didn't believe I was in labour for about 9 hours and then barely made it to the birth centre in time 😅

Im 11 weeks today,i felt more energetic than the previous weeks,not too much nausea but the saliva is still too much and the funny taste in mouth is still there but i feel much better. I feel uncomfortable sitting with my legs crossed on the bed but its usually comfortable. Last week was the worst for me i fell into depression, I cried everyday, got worried and sad but as i said i feel better today.

I was unaware that this what something that happens so when they did it and it hurt I completely refused it. I gave birth in Italy with little Italian so I didn't really understand what was going on unfortunately however luckily I healed well on my own. I'm pregnant again so next time I'll be prepared!

Nice video, thank you. I like your reference to nursing scarves/shawls. I think modesty is definitely a good thing and should not be unlearned. We are sexual beings and the female body is attractive to men, especially boobs, so we don't want to be a stumbling block knowing this (if you're a believer). Breastfeeding is a private thing and it's great shawls are invented for if we need to be out.

So even with strong contractions coming every couple of minutes, that isn't active labor unless you are 6 cm dilated?
