Had to paste this here hahahaha… I really applaud your courage and audacity to live outside of the box. I know it's not easy and you have to fight the system every day. But that's just the fear in us talking. I've gotta learn to embrace the autonomy and freedom despite the uncertainty too. I don't want to sound grim, but to me it has never made too much sense when coaches talk about alignment with the outside world and finding one's passion etc. People get headaches trying to figure out what their purposes in life are. They do not live in the moment. A lot of spiritual traditions will advocate that happiness cannot be found in the world as we perceive it, but rather in the realization of our ever-lasting energetic presence that transcends our concept of living on this planet right now. Once you hit a real life crisis and you get pushed down the rabbit hole, you will find a new perspective on things yourself. I dealt with intense anxiety disorder for a few years and only spiritual insight and realizations have turned this around. I can only assume that it will be similar to people with depression and others who feel "burned out". Our minds were not made for the fast-paced world we have created - many are trying to back up but they cannot find reverse gear. People have to learn to say "no" and naturally let go of their worries. This is a life-long task and no coach can help you with that, it is a way you choose out of your own thoughts and motivations.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. This was about internal alignment though - never about the external and what’s good for everyone else. Spirituality can help, varying from person to person. And I agree that this is a life long work, as for myself I struggle from time to time. Coaches can only give you the tools and prompts, but not the answers. Ultimately, we still have to practise and put in the work.
