He was more helpful in 5 minutes than our marriage counseling was in a year. I might still be married if we had talked to him.

The fact that this man reached out speaks volumes about him. He is willing to make a change, that means everything.

Thank you, I’m slacking on my prayers and i need to be a better husband & father. I let MY bad decisions dictate my day and then I come home an angry mess. I need to be better.

I do NOT do Dad the way my Dad did. I don't talk to my Dad anymore. I have 3 sons. I love them and I love my wife and I'm always being careful to leave 95% of my Dad out of my life.

I don't pick favorite Ramsey Personalities. However, I will say since Dr. D was first introduced he has been added to my most watch list next to Dave, Chris, and Anthony.

Thank u!!!! U and Dave are great on the radio. I feel some of the combos are awkward. U and Dave always put a smile on my face for 1-3 hours. There are other good combos I enjoy also on the Dave Ramsey show on the radio. Thx

Fathers and husband's are the most underrated in the house hold We create the families happiness and get no credit and when it goes bad we take all the heat we are the quarterbacks lol

Me husband creates issues to avoid intermicy, by making rules up which I expect but he won't stick to. I have brought this up to him but there is always an excuse as to why it is my fault.

How to be a wife trying to help a husband who is like this?
@luminous69694 жыл бұрын
Ever notice how there's always room for men to improve to be better husbands and fathers and yet the mere suggestion of women needing to change in any way gets you dogpiled and called every name in the book? Interesting how that works.

If a woman is willing to change and works to change herself, I’ve noticed, it goes unnoticed. Also in the same vein, most of the women THAT I KNOW actively seek ways to better themselves (including myself). And I have been called every name in the book for very gently reminding a man of things he asked to be reminded of (and not multiple times “nagging”).

I have a feeling it is because women are, in general, the ones who seek to improve their marriage, themselves , etc. Men, in general, do not strive for change in the same way. Read the first few chapters of Love & Respect by Dr. Eggerichs.

Lindsay Shannon I can see that as a generalization. And generally works for the friends and married couples I’ve known. But will also say with specific examples of people I know that’s the opposite can be true. Just look at teens dating or college kids dating, engaged, or newly married - there are examples we can see after hanging out with them that there are definitely exceptions out there. I have family members and best friends of whom I’m thinking why are married to her. Most of the time though I’m thinking why are u married to him ( for the record usually I’m thinking most couples I know Are happily married , I’m just talking about the ones that are on tioic)

Too late. Wife already left with another man, filed multiple false reports of abuse and neglect, turned my children against me, and forced me to give up my parental rights so that the new daddy could adopt; all without even a court hearing to tell my side of the story. Dont get married fellas it's suicide.
@johncross1164 жыл бұрын
I am so sorry to hear this, that is very difficult. I say this in love, but always look to what YOU can do, not how the other person is at fault. I am learning this in my own marriage. Change never comes from pointing the finger, no matter how wrong the other person may have been.
