My situation is tough. I got into basketball in january 2023 around my 14th birthday already. Also, i am Brazilian, and we don’t have great organized sports incentives in school. Last year i didn’t know how to dribble a ball, now i can do jabsteps, crossovers, between the legs and a bunch of other stuff. My shot is improving a lot too, but i think i just got into the sport too late to have any professional goals. If i had had the incentives earlier, my goal would have been to go pro in the NBB (Brazilian league) or might even the NBA. Thanks for all who stopped by to read. Stay strong and you’ll make it anywhere.

You don’t have to give up KZbin videos, I promise there are more sources and examples you can learn from. I am a young teen, I have good height genetics, and I have a good work ethic. What should I do to make my chances of going big greater?
@jordanthejellyfishcash424610 ай бұрын
To make NBA you have to really excel in high school or college. Try to increase your exposure by playing in higher profile leagues like competitive aau and tournament club teams that are known for good comp. There will usually be more scouts there which can get you recruited or even ranked depending on where you are playing. When you get recruited you have to grind relentlessly to stand out from the college players specifically if you go D1. This is because they all were also one of the best and excelled on their previous teams. So you have to go to bigger measures to to stand out. Usually you need something specifically spectacularly special about your game like very good iq like a floor general lights out shooter or a freak athlete or size. Then either declare for the draft or tryout for a g league team. When you make it do good in the g league and get moved up and sign a partial contract with an NBA team. And if you prove your worth you can be an official player on the roster.keep grinding and I Hope this helps
