I was up at 5am to see what was happening, as the railway possession started at 4:45 on the Dawlish Sea Wall. The BAM Nuttall lads were busy working in the station car park, so I flew over to the Morgan Sindall site following the Road Rail Vehicle. It's incredible how much work they've done on the rock fall shelter since my visit in October of last year. New video from ‪@BeachCamsMan‬ and Jack Brookes from ‪@BAMNuttallTV‬ on Sunday Morning.

I’m an Aussie but my ancestors are from your part of the world and I love watching this. My paternal side were Plantagenets and my dad, who I just lost in December, would have loved to have seen this. For you Dad! ❤

I've not been on that stretch of line since going to a much-loved relative's funeral. After the storm damage I honestly thought I'd never see that beautiful view again. To see it from such a different angle with all the lights of Dawlish was a real treat. I'm not ashamed to say you've made an old lady cry. Brunel would be proud of you all!

I sometimes think how lucky Dawlish is, getting all of these infrastructure improvements, but really it is most of the South West past Exeter who are getting the benefits also. Some great civil engineering work being carried around there, thanks for the fantastic footage.

My favourite part is when the motion lights come on in town, when the work train goes by. Great video!

At first I thought I was watching a trial run of Santa's sleigh coming by train to the village of Dawlish, thanks to the orange mini excavator on the back of the railway flat wagon. Excellent video footage highlighting the successful upgrade that it needed almost looked like a model railway at night. Exceptional drone flying at twilight which is never easy and to be highly commended, well done!

Dear Mr Beach Cams Man... If you also like the music, I'd highly recommend listening to Hania Rani, Dobrawa Czocher, or both together.

Twas a pity you had to lose the old wall in a storm and endure the lengthily building of the new one, but it sure is pretty now.
