The guard didn’t say anything but was watching his every move , even after the man left the horse. I believe this particular tourist/ man had some type of issue ( medically ). I’m sure the guard had his reasons. In the end the guard, horse and the other tourists remained safe. I also tend to agree , double standards ? Some guards are much more tolerant. GOD bless the guards and horses!

Although they look very regal and have my admiration, I find it rather inhuman to make a guard and horse stay in the same position for that length of time and having to put up with some annoying members of the public. It must feel like some form of punishment especially on a hot day like this. I salute both guard and horse for their patience and endurance.

The guards and horses have a lot of patience with some of these annoying people. Admire their well done work and professionalism. Some people have no sense around a horse, for the horse and guards are not toys. Should not touch the animal unless having permission to do so.

First off, I would never have a picture taken of me without asking the guard. If he nodded, then I would. If he ignored me, I'd move on and probably take a picture from a distance. Furthermore - I wouldn't THINK of touching the horse. It is a highly trained and very patient animal the usually deals with rude tourists admirably. Respect! As an American, I honor these men because if they had to, they'd die to protect their country. Don't treat them as tourist attractions! Have a little class!

Yes, tourists, should not be allowed to touch, stroke, grab reins and on one occasion saw a girl slap the horses nose 3 times, (would loved to have slapped her 3 times). Something must be done, put in place, so these things do not occur. It would not be accepted in other countries, I'm sure of that! It is not good for the horses nor the patient soldiers! Love the one where the horse bites!😊
