GCSEs are going mostly well so far. I mucked up a bit on weekend rev and now gotta cram for each exam the day before (have an exam every day this week). Used Seneca and Flashcards for History like you recommended before and it has actually saved me so thank you so much!! Only thing is I have no idea what to do when I’ve messed up my revision timings. Had no idea whether to prioritise History, Maths or Chem because I’m meant to be getting Grade 9s in all of them and rank them similarly. I think this is the toughest week in terms of rev priority for me tho cuz next week I have German writing which I can wing and still do pretty good and lang which doesn’t require too much intensive rev 🤷‍♀️ (bit of a rant but hey GCSEs are stressful innit) edit cuz i cannot type apparently

hiya, glad my tips have helped you. if you're really stressed- i would prioritise only the subject you have the next day. chemistry may be better to revise than maths, as i feel like an extra hour of chem revision would be better than an extra hour of maths. these first few weeks are defo difficult but you do learn and get used to them :)

GCSEs have gone fine so far, I made a few stupid mistakes on Biology that would lose me 5 marks but English Literature went well (especially thw Jekyll and Hyde question) and media studies was also good too, except no one was taught what superimposition meant! Thanks for the video, maths was the only subject I've barely done any revision for as, in my opinion, it's less interesting than English, History ect (sorry) but I will definitely brush up on a few topics tomorrow (ratios and trigonometry). The "Read the Question properly" point is so easy but the amount of times I've got the question wrong by diving straight in is mortifying; I will force myself to read the question properly with a highlighter! Because of my laissez faire attitude to maths, I will be content with a 7 and happy with an 8 but I've used a calculator so much I can barely do long multiplication anymore so an 8 may be unlikely.

I had 2 essay based exams (English Literature and Media Studies) on the same day and we're in the same boat with Chemistry and Geography. I try not to do too much revision before the second exam- maybe some light revision but nothing extensive. Eating brainfood like bananas or fish and chilling with your friends is relaxing too so it'll make you less tired. I was really dreading having 2 exams in one day but, honestly, it's not that bad especially as geography is only 1.5 hours long and chemistry isn't essay based.

I got 20% for the jars question (it was 7.5%), didn't do the last 2 questions, put that the height of the cuboid as 3 (it was 2), didnt finish the re-occurring decimal question (got 375/990) and didn't do the 2^m question. @@ghostops-gd4ns look what done is done you cannot change it I wish I could I realised how to do the question of the cuboid as soon as my friend mentioned quadratic and I regret doing nothing for it but you tried you best and that all you could’ve done we still have 2 WHOLE PAPERS that could change the whole thing around I’m assuming you have Chemistry tomorrow focus on that also you will get 2 marks for the reoccurring decimal question you just forgot to simply it by /15 btw the height of the cuboid was 2.5 so you were close and you will get method marks which matter more than the answer I understand you want a 8 but that won’t matter unless you do further maths anything above 6/7 will get you to a relevantly high uni if you want to Take deep breaths and when we have the 1 weeks off we spam maths revision I’ve also got statistics to do after only learning the course for the last 2 1/2 months
