I really appreciate how you build a foundation with the basics, then apply it to actual fish catching. Thank you for helping me be a better bass fisherman.

Heading to FL in mid January with my boat. Lake Toho and Kissimmee. Looking for all the info I can get. Got me thinking I need to up my braid. I usually stick to 50lb braid on my flipping/punching setup. But I may have to up my game on my other med/heavy rods. I usually only have 12-15lb braid.

I’m heading to Florida in April and thank you so much for your breakdown of equipment and baits. This has been very helpful. I’ll be flying so I won’t be able to bring everything but think I can come up with a nice variety of baits as well as colors. I’ll be taking two travel rods, a bait caster and spinning rod. Great video!!

Every bass I've ever caught in Florida doesn't even compare to a bass in the Northeast. A 3 lb Largemouth in Rhode Island fights much harder than a 5 lb Largemouth in Florida.
@ashleyphilbrick57310 ай бұрын
Of course they fight harder. U ever catch a sub 2lb LargeMouth? He's little so metabolically, he can fight bc he's got the energy to fight. But energy ain't covered in any record books. Unfortunately only two factors matter in the record books, that's weight and length (plus of course tackle size of course). U get ur weight and length in Florida. Plus there's nothing like the feeling of ripping a +6 lb HAWG out of the grass and watching your pole bend, taking the tip all the way back to the damn reel! WOOO!! Spring cannot come FAST ENUF boys!!😂
