Just started an excavation company, bought a 2011 kenworth tri axle as my first purchase. With a tag trailer, I’ll use it on every job, and it’s so helpful having a truck with smaller jobs. As a new guy, I’m hoping it gives me the edge on other small companies, as I can be more flexible. Also hoping to sub to other contractors to build relationships for excavation work.

It 100% can if utilized right brother! In smaller operations it can be used to control cost consistently. Sounds like you’re going to be the driver in it. Anytime Owners are operating their own equipment it’s usually going to be further between repairs from my experience!🤙 Tri axles are the way to go in our part of the world!
