At endgame, you might as well build all the standard characters. That way, when losing 50/50 it just means your characters are getting buffed each time. I have C4 Keqing, C2 Mona, C2 Diluc, C1 Qiqi, C0 Jean, and C0 Dehya all built. Here's hoping if I lose 50/50 again it'll be to Tighnari. I'll build him too.

Plus you get more pulls from leveling them lol my diluc lvl 50 ascended and dehya 20 I don't think she's ascended lol and I have jean on my other acc for standards only ayato and furina on my other acc for limited not bad so far but I need variety in elements and a few more supports before I go for main dps but I'm pulling for raiden anyways and maybe nahida down the line until more husbandos rerun and new waifus release

I've been playing Genshin since 1.4., and I will say by the endgame post AR60, 36 star abyss, and everything having different types of gameplay is more fun. I've fully built 50 characters to level 90/80 with their talents mostly maxed out. The remaining 13 I think are partially leveled up for pulls. Just prioritize on who you want to build and you're good.

If I lose a 50/50 I always keep pulling. Even if I don’t get the character, I’m still building pity, and that counts for something. I also got a 10 pity Nahida this way so that motivates me.

Out of 17 50/50s, i have LOST 13 of them. The last time I bought welkins was Sumeru’s last patch. Although it always means I’m guaranteed next time, it’s just tiring to always have to spend more time grinding. The 50/50 doesn’t feel like a 50/50 anymore. If u lose ur 50/50 think abt doing quest and events for premos u can Aldo explore yes this will be time consuming but its better to know your 50 or 40 even less away from pity and ur next legendary will be guaranteed.if the character u wanted limited time is up and the next 5 star character is something u would consider wanting then continue pulling bc there always a chance you'll get the 5 star before 90 pity

My perspective is generally, I just started playing not long ago, and they're all useful in one way or another. :D And this has forced me to save for a BIT so that I can maximize the use of my guaranteed on my next most desired character AND maybe save up enough to give myself a good chance at the character I want most after that. (And by that... I mean I currently have 193 wishes saved, and my goal is to get up to 270 wishes saved so that I have my next 2 characters guaranteed... mostly because I am pulling for the old Archons atm.)

Obligatory Dehya comment for those who lost their 50/50 to Dehya: if you're building her as a support, her most accessible weapon is The Bell. The new Fontaine claymore, Portable Power Saw, is her best option if you have it. She is useful in the following scenarios: - Dragonspine exploration (her ascension passive makes her practically immune to sheer cold) - underwater exploration (her ascension passive makes her one of the only characters who can heal without NRE or a specific weapon) - resistance to interruption + damage reduction will either replace your healer (if your on field character can self-heal like Wriothesley or Neuvillette) or your shielder (Bennett doesn't apply resistance to interruption but he can be used with Dehya quite effectively). Dehya can be used in Spiral Abyss if you must (I've used her before), but teams that are good in Spiral Abyss are not the same as teams that are good in the overworld. Play to her strengths and use her to make your exploration cozy. A lot of the Fontaine characters have HP draining mechanics, and Dehya can prevent them from taking even more damage from enemies. I really do feel like she was designed for Fontaine.

Actually for Tighnari: You’ll want to use 4pc Wanderers troupe Use any crit rate, em or crit dmg bow, usually something like slingshot can work with him well. NA < Burst < Skill for building him He’s good for mainly spread - aggravate teams. I lose the 50/50 every time. Legit, I have lost every single time besides Furina’s first banner I think. I’ve been playing since 1.6 and that’s about 3 years of losing 50/50s, I want to win again please 😭 It’s nice having guaranteed but I like having my characters as soon as I want them. I mean I guess it’s good? I got dehya. I was fine as long as it was a character I didn’t have or Tighnari cons / sigewinne.

Ha ha ha, love the guide at the end to the characters you get when you lose the 50/50. :D New player here, I lost my first 50/50 on Kokomi's banner, and got Dehya. There's no 50/50 on the standard banner, but it felt like it because my 1st 5* was...Dehya. Again. :D But all was not lost because I got Yelan on my guarantee. Which actually turned into a better outcome in the end. I'm saving for Raiden (now on 200+ wishes) It's kind of tough because I would like Kuki, but can't risk it at 50 pity and guarantee. I spend my acquaint fates when I start thinking about pulling, just to take the edge off.

Needless to say I feel disdain every time I play Genshin, even though I love the game. I’ve had to spend money every time I wanted a character. (A lot of money. ) Don’t spend money on Genshin. I didn't just lose my 50/50... I lost it to Qiqi while pulling for C1 Furina, and some 30ish pity into Ayato's banner because I was pulling for Kirara and Kuki costellations, I got Ayato. Double the pain. Worst of all, I've only gotten Xiangling. Not a single Kuki, not a single Kirara, not a single weapon. This video has helped a lot, though, so thanks! ❤💀❤️

Most of the standard banner five stars have a home in the meta even if niche (Well except Qiqi and Diluc). I actually don't mind getting cons for the others. Unfortunately, Diluc has an unrequited love for me and I keep losing my 50/50 to him. It would be nice if Hoyo implemented an optimised path system for the standard banner characters. I'll just keep dreaming of c4 Jean on my Wanderer teams haha.

i actually dont get the whole 50/50 obsession. I honestly am a happy genshin player with multiple 5 stars, f2p, got all characters i want and i only ever won one 50/50 and the rest of the time i just think of it as 180 wishes for my desired character and we're good. Acctually to say "DonT PulL In WhaTevEr BanNer U sEe bC U aRe GonNa RegRet WhEn ThE ChAraCtER YoU WanT ApPeaR"s is nonsense bc to get a 5 star u need pity and pity carries over from banner to banner so if u are 50 pity and pull for example in klee's banner and then in yae miko's is not bad bc u are gonna develop pity but when u are at 75 pity it is recommended for u to stop wishing and pull to the character banner u want bc u might enter soft pity

Lost my 50-50 to diluc on kazuhas banner. I have 25 primogems left rn and he was my last single pull... Im f2p and a student with very less time so this really hurts, i dont know why but i just... Cried? Cried for quite some time. Not just because i had lost the 50-50 on my favourite characters banner but because of everything going on irl everything is going wrong... Woah i didn't expect myself to vent it out it doesn't matter now i hope no one reads this lol. I just know why im acting like this its just gacha full of uncertainties and possibilities and crying over it is just stupid like what i did now... Omg i should stop typing this all seems so cringe

Honestly I really wanna lose my 50/50 cause Keqing is like the “dream” Character I want, as I joined pretty early in 1.6 and there wasn’t many characters as there is now, so I have always wanted Keqing but I was so mad when I Won my first 5 star which was Kokomi and I got even more mad when I won again from Ayakas banner

I lose my 50/50 to Keqing over Neuvillette's banner. It was a pain like literal pain. I felt so down that I feel burn out. I literally bought a keychain of Neuvillette and I lost him. I was so sad. Too sad.

If I lose the 50-50 on someone I really want, I'll keep pulling that banner for the featured 4 stars if I like them. Only time I will build pity. I don't pull for new characters; I wait for the re-run. Once the hype wears off, many turn out to be not that great.

Actually continuing to pull on the banner of a character you really want does not have a con. Since pity carries over to following banners, the primogems put in are not lost, they are just saved in a different place. Primos are only lost if you get the character, which is why you should never pull on a banner if you do not want the featured 5-star. Never 'build pity' unless you are ready to lose it.

I started late into Wriowesley/Venti banner and I did my pulls on Furina banner. Unfortunately I lost the 50/50 to Dehya at 8 pity which is my worst case scenario because I have Xiangling already. And it’s not worth wasting time and materials to build her up. I decided to pull more to try get C2 Beiduo and manage to get it while being at 72 pity. Man…she’s very underrated and amazing! I wouldn’t mind if I get lucky earlier because I did want Furina. But instead of doing one more 10 pull to get Furina and I decided to save my guaranteed for Raiden and get Furina on her rerun since she should be coming around 4.6 patch. I’m at 80 intertwined fate now ^^ Can’t wait for Raiden to come home! I really want her also ❤ I’ll wait patiently for my Hydro Archon ❤ Edit: When you talked about Dehya, it made me feel really bad for my lost 50/50 :( But as I said above, it was on super early pity and it worked out for me in the end.

I have lost 4 50/50’s In a row at the span of 6 months, all of them went to soft/hard pity. I did spend money because I wanted Navia and her weapon so badly thus I bought all genesis crystals with a first buy bonus, took me around 300 pulls to get It. Now i lost 50/50 at 80 pulls for cloud retainer, I had an urge to pull out my wallet again even though there are no more double bonuses and It hit me. I already spent on this game more than on any other game and I feel dirty because this way I support the existence of this wicked slot machine system. At least In actual gambling you win money while here you can only win a bunch of pixels that will be forever lost once the servers shut down. I love most things In genshin but the gacha business model Is just the worst and by paying money you are just advocating for the existence of such model.
