"Conservation of angular momentum". It states that the total angular momentum of a rotating body is conserved in absence of torque(T=0). i.e., L=mvr=constant. Since the radius of the body decreased the linear velocity of the body increased.

Sahi to h There is no external torque, as the thread itself is the axis. Hence I¹w¹ = I²w² As the size of ball decreases, it's Moment of Inertia(I) decreases, and Omega (w) increases

The speed is constant but the angular velocity is increased as radius decreased to support the relation ( speed = Radius x angular vel)

@@bhaskar1157 Nahi woh galat ha, aisi nahi karte kyuki linear velocity constant nahi ha. When Net Torque = 0, Angular momentum is conserved, so when we decrease the radius, the Moment of Inertia increases thus the angular velocity decreases.

Angular momentum= mass× velocity× radius. So angular momentum is directly proportional to radius and radius is inversely proportional to velocity, which means if you decrease the radius ,velocity automatically increases because mass is constant here. He just decreased the radius of whatever this thing is by pulling the thread and speeding it up

here radius from axis of rotation decreases so moment of inertia (I) also decreases as I = 2/5mr^2 now to conserve angular momentum omega should increase itself so rotation in sphere speed up

L = mvr For constant Angular Momentum (L) (means no torque is applied), tangential velocity (v) is inversely proportional to the radius (r). This is why you decreased the radius which led to an increase in tangential velocity.

As (inertia=mr^2) when we decrease radius inertia also decreases And by relation (angular momentum=inertia and angular velocity) when inertia decreases then angular velocity (w) increases to make eq constent.

Its conservation of angular momentum Angular momentum =M Inertia × Angular Velocity And M inerta=mass×radius square When the thread is pulled the radius of varius masses decreases from the axis around which it rotates and hence the moment of inertia decreases now the system has to increase the angular velocity to conserve the momentum and thats why its speed increases

Angular Momentum of this system will remain conserve as we haven't applied any external torque. Since Iw= constant; radius of sphere gets decrease when we pull the rope and hence I reduce and w will increase.

angular momentum =mvr where m is mass,v is velocity and r is radius of the body. Here mass and angular momentum is constant and thus v and r are inversely proportional. So if radius decreases velocity increases and vice versa. Here the velocity increases since radius of the sphere is decreased.

During the initial rotation if we reduce the size of that object from the centre of the object the speed will be increase. Reducing the size of an object takes less energy to rotate and then rotate with increased speed. I think so.

In the first Arrangement the masses are far away from it's axis of rotation, Compared to second arrangement Due to which the moment of inertia of the system is higher in first arrangement And less in second arrangement , As it is demonstrated in the video, he gave the angular velocity to the first arrangement and then shrink the volume of the first arrangement ( So that all the masses come closer and thus the distance from the rotation of axis decreases) so that the moment of inertia decreased therefore to conserve the angular momentum( Because there is no net external torque applied during the motion), omega increased

Conservation of angular momentum bc the moment of inertia decreased bc the radius of the shape thats close to a hollowsphere decreased so to conserve angular momentum rotational speed should increase

Momentum (P)=Mass(m)×Velocity(v) P=m×Radius(r)×Angular Velocity(ω) P=mrω So, to conserve the momentum of the body, that is to keep it constant, ω will increase if r decreases.
