I’ve never heard of a high school coach going out to paint the lines themselves . Growing up in the late 70s and 80. that type of stuff was outsource to a local (county wide( groundskeeping company, that specifically specializes in doing Baseball, Football, Soccer, Little League Lacrosse fields etc.

How about the placement, alignment, and field programming that has to be done ahead of time.

Very good question. What is keeping this mechanism from being like slightly diagonally- -off-center, of the intended centering dimensions of the of the empty grass field, between the bleachers.

Does that need to be refilled with paint? or does it paint the whole field in one shot?

A college in my area used one of these to paint their football field

Seems like it works well. But it doesn’t take anymore than an hour to line a field with two people. Several drum corps would love to have these though.

A lot of high schools and small colleges don’t have sports specific grounds crews

@@dubsak7406 I doubt any high school coaches actually paint the field grid. This is something that you outsource. (I doubt even the smallest high school, doesn’t have the means, to take a wheelbarrow and paint and make a perfect football rectangular grid) - I tried just throwing a left and right field baseball line with one of those truck wheel Bower mechanisms when I was young. And it’s impossible to do a Freeform straight line without using somewhat sophisticated equipment.
