Something important to remember as well two Michelin stars indicates that it’s not only the quality of the food that is worthy of recognition, but the staff and service in the restaurant is top notch as well. You don’t get two stars just by being a good chef

Michelin stars are purely rated on food. Nothing else. Service and decor is a separate category.
@andersandkaitlin3 жыл бұрын
@@tc88888888 True on paper, but we see Michelin tend to skip entirely places with great food if the setting and service doesn't match the typical fine dining category.
@elbruces3 жыл бұрын
It's the overall rating of all the elements combined. The number of stars doesn't represent any one "aspect" of a restaurant, it represents how far out of your way you should go to visit this restaurant. 1 = worth it if you're already in the area, 2 = worth a detour, 3 = worth a trip. The Michelin guide was originally created to get people to drive/travel more so they'd use out their car tires.
