@@RemiSun50 Was at Venice Fishing Pier Sunday Morning when the Beached Whale was first noted about 1/8th mile North of Sharky's Fishing Pier. I spoke with FL Fish and Game Rep. She said that the whale would have to be euthanized since they never recover once afflicted. It is a very unusual experience a few times a year for the entirety of FL. She thought it was about 40 ft. long. It later measured in at 50 ft. The first min. of the Helicopter View News Feed shows the still alive beached whale. I watched the helicopter hover for about 15 min. on Sunday Morning about 11 a.m. and figured it would end-up on KZbin. No Dawn not lying. My gf has been there since early this morning before they even closed the beach. But it’s typical that people get all in sorts and that’s fine I was just expressing MY opinions so please don’t bash me for having one. I’m sorry about this poor whale but nicely someone said that whales will usually beach themselves when they are not well. Thanks and have a great day!!😊

It is. I just saw an interview with one of the agencies at the beach right now and they said the whale is really skinny and they usually live way far out and the fact that it came close to shore says that it probably got disoriented because it’s sick. They are just waiting now but the plan is to euthanize it.

It's a sad day with all our technology that a whale dies because everybody stands around and waiting for someone to make a decision. They could have put ropes around the whale and towed it 50 feet with a cutter or helicopter to safety. Don't tell me it couldn't be done. B.S..

@EmergingTechJi Because even if they could get it back out its only going to beach itself again, They said the conditions were too dangerous for them to get in the water and that the whale is in distress and that it is extremely skinny and more than likely sick that why it's where it is. They are going to euthanize it, Sadly it can't be saved 😢

There has got to be a reason any ocean wildlife tries to either end it's life or is trying to get away from something that is somehow hurting it. And no government or corporate entity has took on this problem and made public their findings, this tells me they know what's doing it and won't tell us probably for nefarious reasons.
