Zimbabwe must have high level of democracy that should give us a platform to air our views whether in critic or positive contribution. I am proud to be a Zimbabwean and will never lose hope over our country, but there are leaders who see that they have totally failed the country, but still not admitting. These people have come up with policies and strategies that force the majority to be silent and developed a culture that prevents leaders from being criticised when they are wrong. Yes I am a patriotic Zimbabwean and l love these people in leadership as my elders and parents, but not as leaders of the nation at this moment. As much as we may all try to support them, they have lost the main focus and dream of the nation and focused on their own personal interests at the expense of those of the nation. If they have eyes they should open them right now see where the country is heading to right now. Lets not all forget the hope and dreams we had when the voice called for a cease fire and inform that we are now an independent state. Now all the leaders in the government of Zimbabwe have forgotten that dream which our parents fought for and have come up with policies that are inspired by selfishness and cruelty. Look at the chaos that is happening in the government itself and the scramble for power. I don't think all these fights are inspired by the love for the Zimbabweans, but the love for being in control of resources and personalizing them. We have suffered alot form the people whom we entrusted with our lives, the people who came to us in the name of leaders, when actually they are robbers. They robbed us of our dreams, identity, values, health, morality and peace itself. Lets put our heads together as Zimbabweans and go back to the cause for our independence. Lets not be deceived by the people who don't really know the definition and role or essence of leadership. Most of the people we have in the government seem to be adamant of the value and paramount call for leadership. This is why since 1980, the birth of Zimbabwe, we have a child who is 35 years old but have lost all the teeth, all the hands and the legs. Zimbabwe had nice roads, infrastructure and resources but they are all lost and we busy being fooled by these people who bring to us words such as factionalism, empowerment, indigenisation. Yes there is nothing bad with telling us those words but they don't mean anything when they don't materialize. when the youths are jobless. The government itself being the greatest employer in country its being found retrenching works but on the other hand creating lots of ministers even the ministers without portfolio. Lets not forget our dreams as Zimbabweans. Let those in leadership considering themselve leaders but have not even a quality or knowledge of what leadership is all about, know that we have been silent for 35 years watching you doing what you did. But now we cant be silenced even by intimidation, torture or by guns. Our voices are getting louder each day even in our silence. Zimbabwe belong to the Zimbabweans and we all equally have the same rights of citizenship to our country. Even if they kill us but they will never wipe all Zimbabweans, they will destroy our dreams and the hope that our ancestors fought for, thus for a free and better Zimbabwe. I believe we will be a better country without people who call themselves leaders, but not without the knowledge of leadership. ........ We are the Zimbabweans
