I admire the design and creativity and the pushing of boundaries here. I imagine these watches will go into some unique collections due to the limited run. Would love to see these pieces in a museum one day where we can all admire them.

Wow that's cool! Just wondering though if there's a safety mechanism such as slipping bridle on the barrel like an automatic watch barrel movement would so it prevent the mainspring breakage due to overwound as I could imagine one would keep turning the case around and around as a fidget toy.

I didn’t think about the thermometer as a reason for the watch case not making contact with the skin, but it makes perfect sense.

Appreciate the innovation and creativity of MB&F although most of their pieces are so awkwardly designed and not necessarily 'aesthetically pleasing.'....Why that weak-ass strap effort on this piece? - Could have given that a bit more thought for a $198,000 piece.
