Yep...saw them in 1980 with Blackfoot as the opening act...kick ass concert....Evansville, IN! This whole album is great...constantly in our rotation...cruising, partying, ladies...great time to be young!

For those who are wondering about the intro in the very beginning I have a cool story on that. I was friends with Manny Charlton, so he told me how this song came to be. He said the guys were recording in the studio and took a break. Manny said that when he went back in the studio he heard this faint * waa waa waa waa* and walked around to find where that sound came from. As it turned out, when the guys took their break Manny put his guitar on the guitar stand and it facing slightly toward the Marshal amp. That created basically a slight feedback sound we all know' hear. and love. Manny went to the mixer and recorded this feedback and the rest is history. -- Manny said he was never able to reproduce that sound again

When this album came out Me and one of my bros were working about 3hrs away and put this on and it seemed like no time . Sure miss those times. Drive 3 hrs to work, work 8 hrs on the Drilling rig then drive 3 hrs home. Then turn around the next day and repeat 7 days a week with no days off. Music like this can inspire you to have great days at work, attitude, attitude, attitude

I love that you reacted to this. I know very few people who know Nazareth at all outside of Love Hurts if even that and this song is amazing. I grew up in the 80’s but we thought we were too cool for school and listened to stuff like this, The Doors, Zeppelin etc. We still dug 80’s music as a guilty pleasure but kept it under wraps

In the 80’s when I bought my first cd stereo , I bought 3 cds. Led Zep I, Boston (self titled)and Nazareth Hair of the dog. There is not 1 bad song on any of those albums.
