I'd say there's no way that the year display goes to 2100 and beyond. The initial 20 must be fixed and after 2099, the display will revert to 2000 and start over again. I don't know how you can fit four 0-9 wheels in that tight space and why would you want to? If your great-grandson inherits this watch and it's still working in Y2.1K and it flips back to 2000, he can call IWC and demand a refund. LOL.

Correct. The first two digits are fixed. It's a 20-21-22 disc that needs to be manually adjusted.

the year can be up until 2299. you (or your great great grandson) need to change the year disc at the year 2300. and maybe can use it until 2599.

@@Doggo-frencton my wrist is just under 7" so its not small either but this watch is t h i c c c. Id absolutely wear it as its beautiful with amazing complications but its not just big, its jumbo. I have giant gshocks of similar size too. Which I love, but there's no denying the chonk. A 39 looks silly on me too just on the other side of the spectrum. I'm glad there's more full grown man size options either way.
